Great experience coming to the restaurant. Had the pleasure of being served by the owner & the waitress who have been with the restaurant since it started. Would recommend strongly to anyone visiting or in Montreal.Voir plus
One of the best meals I've had in ages. Started with the velvety beet appetizer, followed by the eggplant veal tahchin. Every bite was deeply flavorful & balanced. The server was kind & very efficient & the layout was warm & richly decorated without being gaudy.Voir plus
Everything wad delicately flavoured & perfectly prepared. The tahchin was amazing.Voir plus
The atmosphere is cozy in this home-like restaurant. Food is pretty decent & exotic for foreigners but unfortunately it is outrageously expensive for what it is. Happy to have tried but I believe that there are better places for this price range.Voir plus

I just tried an Iranian restaurant & absolutely loved it!
The flavors took me straight back to home-cooked meals - rich, aromatic, & beautifully balanced.
Highly recommend it if you're craving authentic Persian cuisine!Voir plus

We just tried this amazing Iranian restaurant & the food was absolutely delicious! Everything was full of flavor & beautifully presented. Highly recommended - if you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out! Definitely worth a visit.Voir plus
Maison Inja offers some of the most delicious traditional Persian dishes in Montreal. Every plate is full of rich flavor, with an unforgettable touch of saffron in every bite. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Persian food.Voir plus
Super cute Persian restaurant with lots of charm. We really enjoyed the ambience & the creative take on tahchin! We were a bit worried reading some of the reviews but the tahchin (kebab digi & chicken eggplant) were delicious. They are not your usual tahchin dishes - lots of aromatics that made the dish more complex & enjoyable. Highly recommend giving a try!
Lost a few points because of the pricing (not insane but the prices could be more reasonable for what they are).Voir plus
Pricey, but so worth it for the vibe & the explosion of flavors in every delicious Persian dish.Voir plus

What an amazing find. We stumbled on this gem of a restaurant & were so happy! The decor is luscious the food is fantastic & do not miss the amazing drink options. Do not miss on ordering the Tachin with eggplant & chicken/veal.

One of the best brunch spots in Montreal with a nostalgic Persian vibe is Café Aunja🩷From the traditional decor to the authentic Iranian flavors, it feels just like home.Voir plus
This restaurant does have a very nice decor to it, but the food was overpriced. Rice & chicken for 40$, I know safran is expensive & its hard to make proper tahchin, but I still felt like it was a high price. Sadly I also did not enjoy my dish & my plate was dirty. The service was okay.
A bigger concern was after reading all your reviews, how I felt about visiting. Your answers to negative reviews are extremely unprofessional, which made me not want to visit this place but did so for my friends. People are allowed to express their concerns & dislikes, especially the water situation, as a huge Montreal foodie, I have never witnessed any restaurants put water on the table without the customer asking or without them being notified it is an extra charge. You need to listen to your customers, even if you don't agree, & this will lead you to having a successful business. I am giving you two stars due to this, the food & service is not the only thing you should be worrying about.Voir plus
We've had their famous tachin beef & an eggplant appetizer. Food is good & tasty, however portions are super small. So, it is certainly overpriced for what it is offering. Service is slow, so expect around half an hour to get your main dish, something you would not know until you've ordered. The place is cosy with a nice cultural touch. All the bestVoir plus
