Restaurant Maison Indian Curry, located in Parc-Extension, offers both North and South authentic Indian cuisine. South Indian cuisine is rice based. Rice is combined with lentils to make wonderful dosas, idlis and vadas. These items are glorious and delicious besides being nourishing and digestible. The South Indian food is a brilliant blend of flavors, colors, seasoning (a little hotter than North India food), nutritional balance, fragrance, taste, and visual appeal. A typical North Indian meal would consist of chappatis or parantha (unleavened flat breads), pilafs, dals, curries all seasoned with fresh ingredients. Tandoori cooking is a north Indian specialty and famous all over the world. Tandoori chicken, naan, tandoori kebabs and shrimps are a hit at Maison Indian Curry (Indian Curry House). The Masala dosa(Indian crêpe made by stuffing a dosa with a lightly cooked filling of potatoes, fried onions and spices) is also amongst the best in Montreal. The authentic food, friendly service and cozy ambiance will have you going back to Maison Indian Curry on a regular basis.
Reviews describe Maison Indian Curry House as offering authentic Indian flavors with generous portions at very reasonable prices, a vibe that is warm and welcoming, and service that is generally friendly and efficient. The menu earns praise for staples like butter chicken, korma, paneer, naan and a variety of curries, with many noting strong value whether dining in or ordering takeout, while also highlighting a cozy dining room and a bustling atmosphere, though a few reviews point to occasional inconsistencies in quality, heavy spice levels, or disturbances during service and some deliveries tasting a bit lacking.
I used to order all the time from this place but recently the quality has really missed the mark.
We ordered the tandoori shrimp which i would really not recommend. It was 20 dollars with hardly any shrip atop a whole lot of bell peppers & possibly cabbage. Not worth it at all.
The thali was decent it would be worth trying & the quantity was good too.
Not sure why the water tasted really foul, usually drink tap but got really uneasy after just one sip. Order drinks if you want some.
Went to celebrate, left with bad tummies :( will not be coming back
The price I pay there is almost never equal to the price in the menu. The Thali Chicken Cury is alway $15 in the menu, but they charge $17 (no tips included). The food is very good, but the price changing pisses me a little.

Amazing restaurant! I was traveling from New Jersey, USA, & was craving Indian flavors while in Montreal. This is definitely one of the best places to visit for delicious food. The owner was very humble & welcoming, which made the experience even better.'
It was our first time here & we absolutely loved it! We ordered the Lamb Thali & the Butter Chicken Thali, & both were delicious. The service was fast & friendly. We will definitely be back & highly recommend this place!
Ordered take out - found the quality to be lacking. The baighan barta was oversalted, while the mutter paneer was bland with hard peas. Naan & bhaji were decent.
Very bad service. I've been here a few times & it's always off. I won't be coming back.
This time it was very busy but we somehow managed to get forgotten about. After 30 min & trying to unsuccessfully make eye contact with wait staff, I finally raised it at the cash & all food (appetizers & mains) came within 2 mins. No acknowledgement. Food was mediocre. Majority was cold.
