Welcome to The House of Jazz (Maison du Jazz) in Laval! Our Montreal location has been a landmark of entertainment, cuisine, and history. Built by French Montrealer Georges Durst, House of Jazz has been a home to Canada’s finest Jazz musicians since 1981. Now we invite you to take a tour of the House of Jazz in Laval and discover the many facets of this entertainment haven.

Our private room "Bijou" is located upstairs in the Monte Carlo / VIP area and is available for groups of up to 10 people.

They refused to serve us water by the glass citing non-existing regulation preventing restaurants from serving water by the glass due to Covid. Obviously lying to make money selling bottled water. We had 2 steaks & a bottle of wine. We were going to have desserts & another round of drinks. I continued the night somewhere else & had my glass of water. They will never see a cent from me or my friends again.
I feel very bad for the restaurants during Covid but alas some establishments don't deserve anything good to happen to them.
Take your business somewhere else if you don't accept to be weaseled.

Everything was perfect, excepting that at the end on the bill it appears "service fees" 15 dollars each person. I asked & they said. It is because you have to pay for the show. & yes, I know the show is incredible, but I consider that the prices of the food & beverages are enough to allow guests to enjoy the show. Before "fees" it was 200 for the dinner & beverages, I think that's enough to allow us to enjoy the show. That really surprised me. Bad point for the house of Jazz.

Great show the band was amazing but:
- They charge for water (a glass of water should be free, you guys are not a Micheline star resto ;) )
-The Old Fashion & Long Island Ice Tea war subpar, bartender needs some coaching
- The cheese platter was...ok but not worth the $30 at all.
Overall, its a nice place if you just want to go for the music & the vibe (Gatsby'ish), they still need to work on the rest :)

Le lieux & l'ambiance est parfaite la qualité de la nourriture n'est pas du tout a la hauteur & les prix non aucun sence par rapport a la qualiter de la nourriture la seul raison pour la quel ji retournerais un jours c'est si j'ai un amis ou membres de la famille qui veulent un lieux avec du jazz sinon en raison de la nourriture je n'y retournerai malereusement pas si c'est le même chef & menu la qualité n'y est pas dutout
