Welcome to The House of Jazz (Maison du Jazz) in Laval! Our Montreal location has been a landmark of entertainment, cuisine, and history. Built by French Montrealer Georges Durst, House of Jazz has been a home to Canada’s finest Jazz musicians since 1981. Now we invite you to take a tour of the House of Jazz in Laval and discover the many facets of this entertainment haven.

We had a fantastic time for our celebration, the only thing I would suggest is the grand chandelier hanging in front of stage brings an interference with the view of performance when your upstairs ... we were at the vip table , otherwise it's the place to be as an out on the town, nothing like it !! Michelle Sweeney.. you did it again ! Bravo !

Atmosphere was good.. Lots of energy, the restaurant missed the mark in the service department.
After eating our main meal, we waited for almost 30 min before I had to flag a waitress. When we got our dessert, there was a spring in my cappuccino.. Probably from the frothing machine even though they gave me the coffee free, it really doesn't do much. They don't offer glasses of water, you need to pay for a bottle which I find a bit ridiculous. The food was average, 25 $ for fish & chips,I was expecting a more elevated dish. In all I think the service could be more "crisp & on point" especially with the price tag of eating here. The live show was great.

Super belle expérience avec le live band, la nourriture, les boissons était de excellent qualité.
Par contre si nous aurons eu un serveur plus présent & qui venait nous tenir au courant pour les délais de la nourriture (1h+ d'attente) & qui fessait simplement le suivi nous aurons été au ciel de la soirée.

Super bonnes nourritures. mes calmars en entrée était parfait avec le steak & les frites en plat principal.
Carte des vins simple mais efficace.
Seul bémol, nous avions droit a une invitée pour un évènement. Malheureusement elle prenait les demandes spéciales qui n'était pas tjs du jazz mais plus de la musique de petit resto du coin. Rien de grave, mais j'aurais aimé profiter de sa voix pour le jazz seulement. La formule "demande spéciale" à éviter la prochaine fois selon moi puisque nous venons pour écouter du Jazz
Le décor est un petit peu lourd mais adapté.
Le service rapide & efficace même si certains serveurs étaient nouveau. Poli & efficace. C'est suffisant pour moi
On va y retourner car la nourriture était super & le service rapide & courtois.

Très bon souper, cependant nous avons réservé pour une soirée Jazz. Déçu 😞 de voir qu'il n'avait pas beaucoup de musique Jazz, ambiance d'une brasserie avec Chanteur pop rock & autres. Prix élevé pour certains repas . Mais faire payer l'eau au client ☹️ Aucun restaurant ne fait cela. De plus 3h de musique sur une petite chaise en bois, pas très confortable & nous avions une instable qui pouvait faire reverser notre repas sur les gens de la table d' accoté.
Toute même nous avons passé une belle soirée.

La table était collante, avoir des napperons sous les assiettes, avoir une sauce avec le poulet, avoir de quoi pour se nettoyer les mains quand tu manges des cotes levées. Très belle soirée, bien mangé, une très bel atmosphere, très bon band. Merci
