Welcome to The House of Jazz (Maison du Jazz) in Laval! Our Montreal location has been a landmark of entertainment, cuisine, and history. Built by French Montrealer Georges Durst, House of Jazz has been a home to Canada’s finest Jazz musicians since 1981. Super ambiance & personnel gentil , courtois & efficace
La maison nous on offert des consommations pour la fête d'une personne de notre groupe ça été vraiment apprécié de nous tous
On voulait voir Mme Michele Sweenie on croyait que c'était elle le samedi

Incredibly decorated & the band was amazing. But we must have picked a bad night, we were placed in the back corner & had to watch a show on a screen, & waited over two hours before we got our food. The server did her best to accommodate & gave us lots of free bread & a bottle of water (that you would usually have to pay for) to compensate. She also let us switch seats to get a better view of the show (but by that time the show was ending so we had good seats for one song). It definitely helped save our night, but it was so late when we left we were almost too tired to drive home. Would not go again, but happy we went.

Quel endroit fabuleux à découvrir ! Le décor, l'ambiance, le service sont juste parfaits. Que dire de Michelle Sweenney ? Une voix hors du commun, une présence sur scène qui nous fait se lever pour danser & des musiciens extraordinaires. Nous avons passé une très belle soirée. C'était notre première visite & assurément pas la dernière. Merci beaucoup !

We went here for our first anniversary. I would haven given it 5 stars however, it took almost 2 hours to get our main meal (no exaggeration) . Nobody came to give us an update. To add to add to the bad service, the waitress was hard to locate. We ordered things that didn't come for so long that we canceled it. We almost canceled everything & left but the food was ready by time we got a hold of the waitress. The food was good but by the time we got our food I was no longer hungry so I only took a few bites. My husband also enjoyed his meal. The jazz artists killed it. The musicians were very talented. The singer was very entertaining. She has us laughing & getting evolved in the show.

The dining experience was exceptional. My partner & I were pleased with the service, food & the band. The Rhum punch was a bit on the light side & it was disappointing to learn that the Mac n Cheese was not available on the new menu. But, the ribs & burger made up for it. The presentation, temperature & taste was phenomenal. The band increased the degree of pleasantries & we liked that they interacted with the crowd. We would highly recommend this restaurant to others & can't wait to return.

Great atmosphere but the waitress/bartender at the bar would not speak english to us. We did not have this problem with any other staff. Inclusion regardless of language choice would be nice.

Très bon service. Même si a l'arrivée un samedi soir on s'est rendu compte que nos places n'étaient pas réservées & nous avons été très mal placés en fonction des disponibilités, nous avons eu un très bon service après.

Tout était parfait sauf......notre table avait été mal nettoyé & était collante. Je n'ai pas voulu attirer l'attention devant la chanteuse.
J'ai déployé deux serviettes de table me fabriquant ainsi une nappe à ma place.
Pour tout le reste, je n'ai que des compliments. Très belle soirée. Nous y reviendrons.
