Welcome to The House of Jazz (Maison du Jazz) in Laval! Our Montreal location has been a landmark of entertainment, cuisine, and history. Built by French Montrealer Georges Durst, House of Jazz has been a home to Canada’s finest Jazz musicians since 1981. Now we invite you to take a tour of the House of Jazz in Laval and discover the many facets of this entertainment haven.

Our private room "Bijou" is located upstairs in the Monte Carlo / VIP area and is available for groups of up to 10 people.

We were seated in the middle of a row with tables within 12 inches from us on the left & right. Impossible to converse due to overlapping conversations with our neighbours. My wife could see stage but my back was to the stage. We requested a move & moved to a table in a corner with one ne8ghbour & a wall on the other side. Noise was better but neither of us could see the performet, who was excellent (Melanie Charrier). Overall experience left us disappointed.

Tout est parfait 👌 côté ambiance, musique, service & nourriture. Le seul problème est le son trop fort donc incapable de discuter & même si les artistes sont incroyables çà devient agressif

J'ai réservé pour une soirée disco qui n'en était pas une. Un DJ vieillissant & une piste de danse trop petite. Impossible de s'entendre parler quand l'orchestre joue.

Was there last Saturday night for a surprise birthday dinner. The live band & music were excellent. It added to the vibe. Michelle & the band had the crowd going. It was definitely an experience.
The only negative was the service when it came to the food.
We were a rather large group & there was a lot of mix-up with the plates, which left some people with food they didn't order.
All in all, it was a great night, & the salmon tartare was excellent.

We enjoyed the whole experience for my mom's birthday, so that was really fun & I truly appreciate it!!!!! I have to say that I did request to have the fees/per person on my bill only, since it was a surprise!! It ended in a sour way, because it wasn't done... I still appreciate the apologies of the waiter & his tequila shot ;)

Everything was great, we had a wonderful time. The only thing is that we were sitting in the center on the main floor & the waitress kept hitting my husband by mistake while passing because the space was too tight. & we were already stuck to our neighbor's tables. After several times we had to change our table & sit somewhere else. The space between the tables is extremely tight.
