Afficher toutroti(21) patties(13) recommend(9) goat(7) oxtail(7) chicken(7) beef(6) highly recommend(5) doubles(5) chef(5) tasty(4) flavor(4)This is the 2nd time that I've ordered from UBEReats at this establishment. Both time I chose the promotion off the app that gives you a free roti with a $40 purchase. Both time I never received it. Why is option there if I never receive it.
I placed an order because I was having an uncontrollable craving for Roti. I ordered the doubles & beef patties because I couldn't resist. I didn't have high expectations because I'm a roti, doubles & patties snob 😂 I can say without hesitation that the doubles & patties are legit. They are good. Order 10. The roti was less impressive but was still ok in a pinch. There was a sale on the roti so maybe it was old. It tasted stale. But don't sleep on the doubles & patties!! I'm going for the oxtail next.
Tasty chicken roti & good crispy & spicy hot wings. Friendly service.
After hearing about this place & watching a video of Rick Ram having a roti at 8am topless to a George Michaels ballet .. how could I resist ... First of all let's talk about the restaurant it's self .. clean inviting warm & friendly..
the service again warm inviting & super friendly ..
Location ... Well love it or hate it , it's a good spot ..
Food... First of all I don't know if the chef has been secretly hanging out with my momma to get these flavors right ...no... perfect ... but from NOW on there is a camera in my momma's kitchen ... & trespassers will be dealt with ... ..
As for the roti at first glance the only thing as big as CCH Roti is a B12 Burger .. but when I comes flavors dancing in your mouth like a youthful j-lo & Gloria Estefan there is no comparison hand down each bite was like a fireworks of flavor & pure goodness that only come from a home cooked meal from grannie.. this chef is highly appreciated & I will have to investigate if he's been getting recipes from my momma ..
So you will not get a video of me topless eating this delicious food to a George Michaels ballets ..
But this place gets my highest regards & recommendations .
Note ... Whatever the chef is being paid he deserves a Raise ..
😉😉 I got you !!
Oh & to mention I left there with 2 count that 2 meals & paid' less' than it I had done the same if I went to that place with the golden arches & the Psycho demonic clown ..
Please note don't tell my momma I came here .. right after visiting her & receiving 20 home made roties ... She has good aim in her old age & them slippers sting ...
In conclusion y'all need to check out this spot ..
Roumer has it if you sing the Jamaican National anthem you'll get a
'Really big discount ...
Again .. my apologies not posting photos I ate it all .. & Napped..
Like I had time to take pictures .. I ain't no Peter Parker !
I eat there every day oxtail & rice strongly recommended beef patties ,goat roti & three soups , staff is amazing glad to have you in he area
Excellent food & great service. The jerk chicken & roti are so good & dont let me forget the amazing oxtail that is superb. Highly recommend it.
Great little place hidden away. I'm not connoisseur of Caribbean food, but I really enjoyed the goat roti!
A must go if you love roti! The goat curry roti with a little hot sauce was superb. The service was hospitable & personable. It felt like a little bit of the Caribbean in chilly Montreal. I will definitely be going back.
What a pleasure meeting Connie at the cash, chef Dwight, & Debra, who works in the kitchen. Everything is made in-house, with the exception of the patties that are flaky & sweet & inside stuffed with quality filling, the paties are outsourced made due to kitchen capacity, but patties are way better than other popular restaurants. The roties are MEGA HUGE & truly tasty & plenty filling. Great job & worth your visit. Try them.
Delicious & authentic! Loved the goat roti & the oxtail plate. Extremely friendly service. I highly recommend.
Boy do I miss the old Carabean Curry House on Victoria. Their juicy chicken roti, full of flavor. This isn't that hard of a dish to make... Just stay away from breast meat, it's too dry for roti. Also, the size!!! They don't need to be this big. The ones from the old Victoria Ave. restaurant were square not rectangle. I know you will claim to be using the old restaurant's recipe but guess what, they didn't give you the recipe they were using. They were using leg meat & very little breast. Do some R&D, improve the flavor & texture, reduce the size to maintain profit margins if necessary. It not about quantity, it's abou quality. I will give you an other try in a year or so. Good luck.
Came here for lunch today with my wife & daughter. We had a goat roti, doubles with chicken, a chicken patty & a couple of sodas. The food was tasty, prices very reasonable & the staff were very friendly. Can't go wrong with this place. It's going to be our go-to spot for caribbean food from now on.
Staff is very attentive, friendly, & welcoming. Ordered a shrimp roti for lunch & it was Delicious & Generous portion! Make sure to add on chickpeas! Very happy to have a place to get roti in the West Island & they are legit!
The chicken & the curry goat roti were very good. The skins were very light & flaky. Definitely will go back.
Very disappointed with this restaurant. Best experience at the one on Victoria. Sad excuse for the vegetarian menu. The roti & rice were lukewarm & bland. The patties were good though. Service was mediocre. The person at the checkout was stoned & made several errors in the order (missing items). I had to go back for half the order & she gave me extra rice as an apology which was appreciated. But, one of the guys in the back took the plates & removed the rice to give a single piece of plantain as the apologies... I was going to give it a second chance because mistakes happens, but when I saw him take away the rice & give me a piece of plantain, I understood that this restaurant laughs at its customers. Maybe I had too many expectations. My bad 👎
I was thrilled andexcited to learn they had a west island location. I used to go to theCDN location whenever possible but can't anymore with that big staircase outside I need wheelchair access these days.the roti from all of their locations is fantastic!zero I do miss going to the CDN location with the amazing reggae grooves always playing. If I'm not mistaken, they used to have live reggae bandringing playing all the timebackin they day when I used to frequent back in the day in the 90's
moi est mon mari somme allé a ce petit resto sympatique pour diner.. assiettes de Roti boeuf & chevres & Roti poulet... grosse portion tres bon ... service courtois est quelle gentillesse
