What an amazing restaurant! I have been wanting to come here for months & my expectations were on point. Beautiful, cozy & chic restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton hotel. The food & cocktails are great. My favorites were the oriental cosmo, the coulant & the homemade tomato focaccia. Thank you to the amazing staff & the manager Valentine for having me. They also have a wonderful garden in the back with ducks 🐥, which is very cute. Will go back !View more

Nous sommes allés un dimanche à l'heure du brunch. Le cadre est élégant & l'ambiance très agréable. Le steak était excellent selon mon amie, mais mon plat de poisson manquait d'équilibre : la moutarde dominait trop les saveurs.
Un insecte s'est retrouvé dans l'un de nos mocktails. La serveuse a remplacé le verre après 10 minutes, mais sans excuse ni geste commercial, ce qui est décevant pour un établissement de ce niveau.
Malgré tout, le service est resté professionnel & nous avons laissé un pourboire de 50$. Une belle expérience dans l'ensemble, mais certains détails pourraient être mieux pris en charge.View more

This restaurant is heavily overrated. It borrows on the reputation of the RITZ-CARLTON hotel, but that's where it stops. This food is good quality but nothing that you could not find any other good restaurants in Montreal at lower prices. The service is on its appearance, very polite, but almost to the point of condescension. It does not compensate for the fact that the service is very slow, Almost as if this was expected for a high priced restaurant. The decor & atmosphere is like a fancy cafeteria.View more

Our group of four enjoyed Sunday brunch we had tasty appetizers as well as several choices of entrees from eggs Benedictine with pork belly to Seabream fish. My strawberry tart for dessert was lovely & tasty however the pain Perdue was found to be disappointing. Ambiance & service was 5 stars. Not my my first visit nor will it be my last.View more

I didn't have high expectations for the hotel restaurant, but lunch turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The three-course menu was just $50 per person, which felt like great value.
The standout dishes were:
1. Chilled soup with honeydew melon & cucumber - light, refreshing, & perfectly balanced.
2. Catch of the day with artichoke purée, bok choy, & a virgin tomato-piquillo sauce - I was lucky it was sea bass, my favorite. The skin was perfectly crisp, & the fish itself was fresh & delicately seasoned.
It's not the most inventive menu, but the quality & price make it well worth trying.View more

Mes invités & moi nous sommes réunis au début de juin pour le déjeuner à la Maison Boulud. Je recommande au plus haut point cet établissement, qui allie perfection & raffinement gastronomique. Tous les plats que nous avons commandés - la dorade au premier chef - étaient exquis, avec une touche novatrice dans les accompagnements. Le service a été assuré par une équipe de professionnels, qui a su imprimer un rythme parfait tout au long de notre repas. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les recommandations du sommelier qui a réussi un accord parfait entre les plats & les vins, & ce, en nous faisant découvrir des vins auxquels personne de notre groupe n'était familier. Je veux vous écrire mon expérience à la Maison Boulud. Nous sommes allés souper le dimanche de Pâques pour le 75e anniversaire de ma chère mère. Très élégant & chaleureux avec foyer. Une très belle ambiance. On nous dirige vers l'arrière où c'est tout vitré & très charmant. Heureusement j'avais emporté mon veston car il faisait plutôt froid. On a dû demander de monter le chauffage car ce n'était vraiment pas agréable.
On prend trois entrées. Le potage était fade & mes escargots aussi. On demande du sel & du poivre pour réhausser le goût un peu. La salière & la poivrière étaient vides. Je tiens à mentionner aussi que mes escargots n'étaient pas tous cuits. C'est long à mâcher. La présentation par contre, fantastique.
Nos entrées principales. On était trois à prendre l'assiette de pétoncle. Personne de satisfait. C'est fade encore une fois & nos pétoncles ne sont pas cuites. En plus, sur mes deux pétoncles, il y en avait une qui goûtait le poisson. Pas très frais! Présentation, encore une fois superbe.
Je décide d'aller voir les autres critiques. À ma grande surprise, d'autres gens qui avaient pris la même assiette que nous avaient TROIS pétoncles & non deux dans leur assiette.
Honnêtement, le pain & le dessert étaient le seul positif de notre repas.
Le service était bon mais rien d'exceptionnel.

Maison Boulud is hands down my favorite restaurant in Montreal. ⭐ I've been several times, & each visit is consistently exceptional. The food is always delicious; you can truly taste the quality in every single dish. ✨ The service is impeccable, the ambiance is refined yet welcoming, & the attention to detail is outstanding. One of my favorite parts? The madeleines they offer at the end are absolutely divine! 🥰 Every experience here has been memorable.
