Ilene was such a lovely hostess. We absolutely enjoyed every moment from the oysters to the wine. Who's doesn't love a good Picpoul? Highly recommended.
Great variety of oysters to choose from, friendly staff, it was nice to have the waitress being bilingual & very kind & considerate. The bar tender made amazing cocktails the gin & lavender was absolutely marvelous. We went on Thursday for the sharing menu lots to choose from & was reasonably price. Food tasted great we had the Cajun mussles, malpeque oysters on the shell, mussels with cream white wine & garlic & asparagus with chilli. All fantastic dishes. Would highly recommend to visit this restaurant.
First, as an aspiring chef, it is abundantly clear that the chef of this restaurant has perfected his recipes. We enjoyed the mussels w/ a white wine, leek, & carrot broth - which was out of this world. The freshness of the mussels accompanied by the savory & bright seafood broth was spectacular. We also enjoyed the creamy seafood pasta, which you can tell also has the infused seafood broth in the cream sauce. Incredible. Additionally, you can tell the seafood is fresh - not frozen. This restaurant pays attention to detail & has also kept up with the times (which is tough to do - shoutout to ownership!), as it has been open more than 30 years. We were very satisfied & look forward to coming back next time we're in Montreal (first timers!) Lastly, Ilene is the best! She gave us incredible advice on spots to hit up on our visit but most of all she's just an all-around sweet person. Thank you, Ilene. Best wishes!
We walked buy & saw it was an oyster bar so we stopped in. They had all different kinds that I haven't seen in the U.S....even ones from the U.S. Our waitress gave us a delicious mix & recommended a tasty wine to go with the oysters! We will most likely be coming back in our 4 day visit to Montreal!!

Had a great time last night thanks to Enrique's professionalism & recommandations! Food was also really delicious: we took a platter of oysters, grilled octopus, the parmesan risotto tapas & wine 😊 Thanks!
I always assumed because of the decor & location that everything was going to be VERY expensive. Wrong. We initially saw the 1.50$ oysters & planned to get a dozen + a drink & leave however the man in charge, Enrique, was super attentive, helpful, & charming right from the get go & we ended up staying for hours trying wines & getting items from their tapas menu. Great ambience, some light music but not too loud you could easier talk, nice decor. Extremely reasonable prices & quality food as well. Whether you're a group of college kids looking for a place to get a drink & some inexpensive plates to share or a couple looking for something a little fancier, they have it. I can't believe I walked by this place so many times & never came in. Great experience. Enrique & Maestro's chef even asked our opinions on new items they were adding to the menu that they had us try. We're planning on getting a group of friends together to try everything on the tapas menu, get some of the higher end dishes, get some of their pricier oysters (mmmm) &... maybe also exhaust their wine list!
We have been eating here occasionally for 20+ years & it's still great- wonderful food, personalized service, great oyster selection & very good wines. Great place. Photo is only a tiny selection of what's available oyster wise, fresh & in season.
Very well run seafood place with a great oyster selection & friendly staff. The owner/manager is a wonderful woman who really takes her time to make you feel welcome in her establishment. Fairly priced wine selection
