The food was amazing & great selection of fresh oysters. Everything we ate was delicious. I recommend the blueberry cocktail too! We will definitely be back & would recommend this restaurant!
This restaurant is some of the best seafood I've ever had! If you are in Montreal, this is a must visit for fresh food, amazing cocktails & an even better atmosphere!
I got this recommendation from a travel book & the restaurant certainly lives up to its reputation of serving great seafood ! I had the seafood platter on ice & the snow crabs & mussels were really fresh which allowed the pure sweetness of seafood to come through. The owner is a really sweet & humorous lady & she made us feel really comfortable in her restaurant.
Stopped by for the first time ever today visiting from the states. We got the Big Seafood Platter on ice. It serves two nicely & everything tasted really fresh. We had one of the best whiskey sours we have ever had. The staff was kind & helpful.
I was in Montreal on a business trip, & a friend recommended Maestro SVP for dinner. They have an impressive array of fresh oysters, other assorted seafood entrées, excellent cocktails, & attentive service (the owner herself). Overall, we had an absolutely delightful meal.

First, as an aspiring chef, it is abundantly clear that the chef of this restaurant has perfected his recipes. We enjoyed the mussels w/ a white wine, leek, & carrot broth - which was out of this world. The freshness of the mussels accompanied by the savory & bright seafood broth was spectacular. We also enjoyed the creamy seafood pasta, which you can tell also has the infused seafood broth in the cream sauce. Incredible. Additionally, you can tell the seafood is fresh - not frozen. This restaurant pays attention to detail & has also kept up with the times (which is tough to do - shoutout to ownership!), as it has been open more than 30 years. We were very satisfied & look forward to coming back next time we're in Montreal (first timers!) Lastly, Ilene is the best! She gave us incredible advice on spots to hit up on our visit but most of all she's just an all-around sweet person. Thank you, Ilene. Best wishes!
We have been eating here occasionally for 20+ years & it's still great- wonderful food, personalized service, great oyster selection & very good wines. Great place. Photo is only a tiny selection of what's available oyster wise, fresh & in season.
I had an exceptional experience at the Maestro SVP! The food was outstanding, with fresh & flavorful oysters that surpassed my expectations. The service was impeccable - attentive, knowledgeable staff who made the dining experience truly delightful. A definite 5/5 stars!
This restaurant has been on list for awhile & boy I wish we would have sooner! Very nice place with a nice vibe love the shell wall :) our food was 10 on 10 & honestly hats off for serving freshness, all was missing was the Atlantic Ocean view. Service was 10 on 10, you can’t go wrong there recommendations. Can’t wait to go back, still dreaming about those scallops.
