I recently visited lux la lumière & loved the atmosphere. The music & decor are very pleasant, & they offer a great selection of wines & whiskies. I felt really good throughout my experience. I'll definitely be back soon. Highly recommended for a nice, relaxing time!
We came here multiple times during my visit as it was my friends' favorite neighborhood spot. The warmth of the owner & the kindness he showed us made a special memory for the for our visit. We enjoyed fresh plates & the wonderful wines.
Love the place. It has a berlin ambiance. The food was honestly excellent (pasta with mushroom & burrata). Great wine selection. Will definitely come back 😍

I discovered Lux La Lumière in 2022, & I have kept going back regularly since then - I have also invited my friends, recommended it to them, & brought them here. The food is amazing Mediterranean food with high quality ingredients, the drinks (wines, beers, kombucha, Japanese whiskey, absinthe - you name it ;)) are unique & selected with care. The music is always good, & the owner shows his refined taste in its curation, as he does with the entire decor of the place. But most of all, I go back to meet & hang out with the owner himself - he is a lovely & kind soul, with whom I can have great conversations. I would give the place a 15/10 if I could ;)

The place has a very warm unique, bohemian & romantic vibe. The food is simple but good, fresh & somehow feels sophisticated. The wine selection is stellar. Not fancy, better than fancy, warm. & the host is half of it, of course!

The waiter was not only cool but genuinely knew his stuff when it came to recommending wines from their wide selection. What's even better is that the prices are really reasonable for the quality you get. You'll find high quality macerations, biodynamics, natural & private imports The decor is refreshingly unpretentious yet charmingly original, creating a laid-back vibe that feels like you're hanging out at a friend's place rather than a stuffy wine establishment. Adding to the cozy atmosphere, they also serve up tasty pasta dishes late at night, perfect for a satisfying bite alongside your chosen glass of wine. Overall, if you're looking for a relaxed spot to enjoy high-quality wine, friendly service, & a welcoming ambiance that feels like home, this spot won't disappoint.
Had the most lovely experience here in the back garden area. Small but thoughtful menu, & a wonderful collection of eclectic wines. Kinda felt like going to a friends house but your friends house is also a restaurant.

Delicious vegetarian-focused cuisine in a gorgeous, relaxed space run by a great person (who was happy to walk us through the menu & give us suggestions for what else to do during our trip to Montreal). A true highlight, even in a city with such a storied food scene. We had a great time sitting in the beautiful backyard space with a glass of wine. Make sure to get the burrata!
This time, I tried Puttanesca; I loved it. Well done made pasta, melted tomatoes, flavored by capers & parsley (was it Parsley?!)
For wine, let’s go with red, Italian, dry wine: Perricone, from Sicily. If you weren’t sure, just ask Islem. I definitely trust him.
