First time there..I had the NDG burger....YUM !!! Perfectly cooked, with chips & coleslaw. All fresh. 3 or 4 booths, & great swivel chairs to dine at the counter. Cozy, friendly, with memories of past diners & lucheonettes of my youth. I'll be back to try more in the menu for sure !!!View more

I'd heard about this place & wanted to go for a while, so I was happy to finally try it. The food was good, the service was super nice, & the place was overall clean. My only issue is the price & the fact that it's cash only-it's 2025; get an Interact machine. Second, the food was good, but it definitely wasn't cheap for what you got. Keep that in mind. I'm going to go back & try something else. The fried chicken burger was sweet. If the quality is the same, I'll give it a five-star rating, no issues.View more

We had a lovely experience here for sunday brunch. The workers were very kind & attentive to each client. The environment is cozy, & the music was old school classics. I plan on going back not only because of the good vibes but also because of how delicious the burger was. My first bite was packed with flavor 😋 Just a heads up that they only take cash, so make sure to plan your finances accordingly. I've come here 3 times so far, & over those 3 times, I have tried 6 to 7 items on the menu. I have not disliked a single one of them. Obviously I like some more than others, but the fact I haven't disliked anything says a lot.
The servers are have always been nice & give me the impression that they actually like working there, which tells me a lot about the place.
Now, the atmosphere. It's got an old school jukebox kind of vibe, & music to couple with it. Think Neil Young - Heart of Gold. If you sit on the bar stools, you get to see the chefs making the food, & as mentioned earlier, they make some darn good food. It's calm, & relaxing, & perfect for the kind of food they serve.
& finally, the price. First of all, it's cash only. So, today we had an NDG burger & two JJ's Breakfast. Total cost $56. Now, I know what you're thinking, that's a little pricey. & you know what you're right, but the food is nice & fresh, the atmosphere & people are great, & I still tipped 20% because I felt as though it was all worth it. The price is worth it in my opinion, & cash only is a small price to pay for some fantastic food.
