Extremely disappointing experience at Luna Rossa in Saint-Sauveur.

We came for Sunday lunch as two families with our children & were treated with an incredible lack of respect from the moment we arrived.

Because the terrace was very hot, we asked to be seated inside. While waiting for the table to be prepared, our children went inside & we were immediately told to stand on the side & not move. The way we were spoken to made us feel as though we were children at school rather than paying customers coming for a family lunch.

Once seated, we took an extra chair simply to place some of the kids' belongings on it. Without asking us, the chair was taken away & moved to another table. When I addressed the issue with the owner, instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally, she told me,'If you are not happy, you know what to do.'

The interaction then became unnecessarily confrontational, to the point where her own employees had to intervene & de-escalate the situation.

I rarely leave reviews like this, but the attitude & level of disrespect we experienced were unacceptable. A restaurant can be busy & have rules, but there is a professional & respectful way to communicate with customers-especially families with young children.

Unfortunately, based on how we were treated, we will not be returning.

Updated: I am astonished by your negligence & stubbornness.
If I were you I would take into consideration the multiple recent reviews about your poor service & ameliorate. I am sure if you don't, you'll be out of business in no time.

Un restaurant pour pratiquer notre patience!!! apportez vous un jeu de cartes un endroit pour y jouer des jeux de société.Pour la nourriture,assez simple & ordinaire. Pour terminer,malheureusement je ne vais jamais y retourner.

Excellent fine crust pizza. Delicious. Unfortunately it took over 1 hour to get our pizza from the moment we arrived. The restaurant/patio was less than 1/3 capacity & the waitresses were frazzled. My husband waited 45 minutes for his beer. When I got up to go ask for more water I was told to stay seated as someone would come. Great potential just lacking a system, or caught off guard with short staff.
Women's bathroom was out of order!

The pizza was absolutely the best we've tried. We ordered lasagna as well, & was also pretty good though. The prices were great for the quality & the amount of food we got. The service was excellent, the waitress was lovely, she is really kind & patient. We really appreciate that! Me & my family had a really good time there, cannot wait to visit again soon!

Excellent pizza, horrible service. With an 1/2 empty restaurant on a week day, it took an hour to get a pizza. But in the meantime, server never came back to offer more wine, more water, or explain the delay. The owner/employee preferred to have wine with customers instead of working on making pizzas. Never checked in with us during the meal. Had to find the waiter to pay the bill at the end. No bill or dessert was ever offered.

I was also dissatisfied with the fact that they only offer one single wine selection per glass. 3 offers per red/white would enhance the experience.

La nourriture est vraiment bonne, mais le service laisse énormément à désirer & frôle l'irrespect.

On avait commandé à l'avance & on nous a dit d'arriver à 18h45. On arrive à 18h50, & on nous demande de revenir dans 5 minutes. On revient 5 minutes plus tard & on s'assoit (elle nous a vus entrer). Après 15 minutes d'attente, on se lève pour s'informer, & elle nous crie dessus devant tout le restaurant : « J'ai dit 5 minutes, je ne peux pas connaître tout le village, je ne savais pas que c'était vous! » Vraiment gênant comme situation.

De retour à la maison avec nos 8 pizzas commandées, on réalise qu'il en manque une : celle sans fromage, à cause d'une allergie. On avait pourtant appelé pour confirmer avant de passer la commande, & on nous avait assuré que ce serait fait. En rappelant pour signaler l'erreur, on nous répond : « Ben voyons, je l'ai pas faite, c'est pas le même temps de cuisson. »

La nourriture est délicieuse, mais entre le manque de respect envers la clientèle & les erreurs de commande non assumées, on ne retournera malheureusement pas.

Vrai bon mangé italien. Frais & tous fait a la main. Service un peu long vue c'est fait a la main & frais du moment mais ca vaut le détour. Produit vraiment importé. Personnel & propriétaire tres gentil & a l'écoute.la pizza canolli 😍

We absolutely loved the Tropea pizza! The dough, texture, & flavours reminded us of authentic Neapolitan pizza in Italy. Fresh ingredients, perfectly baked, & simply delicious. Thank you, Chef, for such a wonderful pizza! 🍕🇮🇹 Highly recommended!

Very welcoming staff & good music. We loved to see the pizza makers do their magic right in front of us & the meter long pizza was amazing! Left us in a food coma (in a good way)! It shows us how good something so simple yet so authentic can be so good. Excellent experience!
