We are so sad with the pasta we received. Lulus was our favorite but the quality has dropped a lot recently. The pasta we received was wayyyyy overcooked. The pesto one is really soggy. The bottom is basically mashed dough. For the other one, it's slightly better but the 2/3 is also a mashed dough. We have to throw them out. The previous we had from another location was also smelly & I couldn't eat it. Really disappointed:(
I recently dined at Lulu's Pasta Bar in Montreal's Griffintown, & it was an absolute treat! The hospitality was exceptional-warm, welcoming, & infused with the genuine passion of owners Jimmy & Anthy. The pasta, freshly made daily with semolina flour, was outstanding, offering a perfect al dente texture & paired with incredible sauces like the creamy pistachio pesto & bold mushroom truffle. The lively atmosphere was buzzing with happy diners, & the open kitchen added a fun, interactive vibe as we watched the chefs craft each dish with care. The ability to customize your bowl with various pastas, sauces, & proteins made every bite feel personal & delicious. Generous portions & reasonable prices only added to the experience. Lulu's Pasta Bar is a must-visit for pasta lovers in Montreal! Highly recommended.

Best pasta in Montreal! I came in one night for a late night snack with a friend, then came back the next day for another one! It was fantastic! The price is good for the amount you get. The pasta was perfectly Aldente, the mushroom truffle & pesto was superb! Highly recommend
I loved the pesto pasta here with white sauce. It was too much delicious , the dine in service is great & friendly staff. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed.

Lulu's Pasta Bar is a must-visit for any pasta lover! The staff were incredibly friendly, sweet, & welcoming-they even let me film content & helped us choose the perfect pasta based on our texture preferences.
They make fresh pasta daily, offering a wide variety of options with high-quality ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for a classic dish or a custom creation, the choices are endless!
The restaurant itself is aesthetically pleasing, though it can get a bit crowded during peak hours. The pricing is reasonable, & the portion sizes & quality make it 100% worth it!

The best pasta in Montreal. The pasta is freshly made, the sauce is delicious & the customer service is welcoming. Love their creamy pesto & Rose pasta the most!
The food was amazing! The homemade pasta was cooked perfectly, al dente, & had such a great homemade taste. The sauces were so flavorful & really brought the dish together. We especially loved the Poulet Estragon & Creme d'Aglio-Olio pesto. Everyone at the table raved about it!
The process is impressive for such a tight space! It's hot & typically waiting 20mins form when you place your order at the counter. The food quality was not good. If you've eaten fresh homemade pasta, or eaten in Europe, this is far from that. The pesto didn't taste like pesto. & the pasta is "fresh" but basically comes out of a machine. Can't speak for the other sauces.

Yes yes YES! :) Many times I passed from this restaurant but never stepped in, today when I was coming from work I was super hungry as didn't have my lunch neither & decided to give it a try! I should say that it was away better than I thought. My pasta arrived super hot , she asked if I like more parmesan & parsley.. & until I was eating it stayed super warm & nice. I have chosen to create my own pasta & tried the chewy pasta , chicken for protein & pesto for the sauce. Super yummy, & the big difference is they make fresh pasta , highly recommended.
We ordered the pesto aux pistaches, crème taco, truffe aux champignons, poulet estragon, & bacon parmesan. Each dish was incredibly flavorful & delicious. This will definitely be my go-to spot on my next trip to Montreal!!!
Great experience stopping in at Lulu's Pasta Bar. Good energy & smiles on the staff & customers looking very happy with their pastas. The place is very clean, service is quick, especially considering it was busy & each pasta is made fresh to order. They are making the fresh pasta right at the front when you walk in. Had the mushroom truffle with rigatoni which was absolutely delicious, & the recommended Tuscan chicken with rigatoni which was also very good & tasty. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente which is so rare with these types of places, reminded of Italy. The portions are a really nice size, & come piping hot. Can't wait to return to try the bolognese which it seemed a lot of people were eating & the pistachio pesto which sounded good; too many choices! There's about 8 tables inside & a terrasse in front, so gotta be lucky if you plan to eat on site. Many people were taking theirs to go.

First time trying Lulu's & the hype is real! The pasta is fresh & tasty. The portions are great, you can have some now & some for later. It is filling but doesn't make you feel groggy. The customer service is also amazing. After you order they bring your order to you & top your pasta w cheese & parsley. I also love that you can see the fresh pasta being cut in the window of the store. I also met the owner & she explained a bit about the process & the ingredients used for the pasta . The pasta is high in protein so it's great. I cannot wait to go back & try new flavors. For reference I got the creamy pesto w chicken & the other one is the creamy taco! PS the lemon cake is also very good!
Je suis aller manger hier, j'ai adorer la place très accueillant. Les pâtes son excellente très fraîches. J'ai pris les pâtes au pesto c'était excellent ! Je recommande ce restaurant !! J'y retourne c'est sûr !
Fresh pasta, friendly staff, this is probably too much for a small sized woman. I only ate less than half of the portion so if you are not planning to take left over around you this might be something to consider. I don't usually take pasta as my food option when I am in Montreal (there are too many good food around!) But I am happy with the meal, & would recommend to people who like pasta. - For the classic option there is no vegetable in the pasta (the pesto/pistachio one), so if you are a veg lover like my friend, be sure to add some extra.
