The service is excellent & the pastas are delicious, but I will still avoid dining here due to their excessive use of oil. In my takeout order, I had to discard nearly two tablespoons of oil.Voir plus

Great experience stopping in at Lulu's Pasta Bar. Good energy & smiles on the staff & customers looking very happy with their pastas. The place is very clean, service is quick, especially considering it was busy & each pasta is made fresh to order. They are making the fresh pasta right at the front when you walk in. Had the mushroom truffle with rigatoni which was absolutely delicious, & the recommended Tuscan chicken with rigatoni which was also very good & tasty. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente which is so rare with these types of places, reminded of Italy. The portions are a really nice size, & come piping hot. Can't wait to return to try the bolognese which it seemed a lot of people were eating & the pistachio pesto which sounded good; too many choices! There's about 8 tables inside & a terrasse in front, so gotta be lucky if you plan to eat on site. Many people were taking theirs to go.Voir plus

Nous avons pris des pâtes rigati végane sauce crémeuse & des truffle champions. Les végane crémeuses étaient très bonnes & savoureuses,mais les truffles champignons étaient exquises. Le service est bon, amical & rapide. J'ai bien aimé le service à table avec le parmesan & le persil qu'elles viennent ajouter à nos pâtes. Les pâtes viennent dans un bol en carton, ça fait différent mais c'est bien pensé. Leur formule est bien pensée & permet des bons prix raisonnables pour la quantité & la qualité de leur nourriture.Voir plus

Great pasta & good value, but the customer service needs improvement. I had an odd experience when I chose a blood-orange drink instead of a Coca-Cola.When picking up my food, I was told to wait & pay an extra dollar without any prior notice about the price difference. This caused an unnecessary five-minute delay at the counter with a long line of people behind me. A simple heads-up about the price change would have been enough. It just left a bad taste in my mouth, I believe the restaurant has potential & just needs to improve its hospitality & customer service.Voir plus

We finally got enjoy some creamy, delicious pasta in a cup. The freshly made semolina flour pasta, served in a 250g portion that seems smaller in pictures than it is (we weren't able to finish 3/4 of it), boasts 30g of protein & a list of vitamins & minerals not typically found in pasta served in North America. We tried two items from the "créations de Lulu" part of the menu, & you'd definitely be delulu if you didn't love them. Obviously, we had to get the Creamy Cheeseburger, & we also tried the Creamy Chicken Chipotle. Both were satisfying, luscious, & delectable. We love the concept of a pasta bar, & we're not alone because the place was full to the brim with people trying to get their pasta fix at the giant cup-shaped counter (which we also loved). They also serve desserts that include lemon cake (which we tried, & it was great), Nutella cornetto or cannoli, & some alcoholic drinks. If you, like us, have been noticing a lot of hype since they opened & are wondering if it's justified, the answer is yes. The hype is real, & we will be back (with more people) to try more of their menu.Voir plus

L'ambiance est comme un mcdo, donc c'est très commercial. On entend les machines faire les pâtes donc c'est hyper bruyant. J'ai fait la file pendant 15 min à 13h, ce n'est pas très rapide prendre les commandes. J'ai payé 19,19$ pour un pot de pâtes sans boisson ni dessert. Je trouve ça cher considérant que mon option n'avait pas de poulet dedans, juste du bacon & que le goût était bien ordinaire. Ça ne vaut pas aussi cher selon moi. Amazing food, format & concept. For Montreal, the portions are large for the price (a good thing!), especially since the quality of the food is excellent. I had never ordered pasta at a restaurant until Lulu's came along, & they sell it in a resealable, cup-like container reminiscent of Asian noodles, which is also great if you're on the go. Whoever thought up this business really understood the needs of the 21st century urban dweller. They could easily take this to franchise-level across Mtl & beyond.Voir plus
