Lucille's Laval is a very nice place to enjoy oysters. Their $1 oysters are quite small, but very tasty - honestly, 12 is not enough! The drinks are amazing - my Dark & Stormy cocktail was perfect, 10/10.

Salmon tartare: 2/10 - didn't taste fresh, & the flavor was very bland. It came with old plantain chips on the side.
White fish tartare: 2/10 - there was more crunchy topping than actual fish.
Service: 10/10
The waitress was very professional & fast, especially when it came to taking my order & serving drinks.
Only downside: At one point, she drank from a customer's glass at a nearby table. Whether it was her boyfriend or husband, it came across as unprofessional in front of other guests.
Overall: Great drinks & service, some excellent dishes, but the tartares were a disappointmentView more
It was our Wedding Anniversary & we went there for dinner. We ordered a burrata which I didnt like because the cesar salad sauce makes it very heavy. My husband took the premium oysters & the beef tartare. Then I had steak frites which I asked Medium well & it came very red & bloody. I asked to remake it & they did. The waitress was very nice but this restaurant is very noisy. Not a romantic atmosphere at all but very commercial.
I would go back but not for the steak neither the burrata. Just for a fun company with friends.View more
Wow, this place was awesome. Tried the seafood ceasar, oysters, lobster roll & the seafood linguini. Lots of seafood places are skimpy with the seafood, but not Lucille's. The linguini had lots of mussels, shrimp, calamari, grilled octopus, & chorizo sausage. It had a bit of a kick to it, but it was excellent. Our server, Elise, was wonderful. Been at Lucille's 3 times, every time the food was excellent: steak, sauce, salads, grilled octopus, seafood linguini, oysters, i think any choice is a good one. Considering that the place is always packed, (get a reservation in advance) 15 minutes of waiting for your order is actually amazing. Stuff is great. Free big parking on site. I definitely recommend it.View more

Always love my time there! Staff is great & food is delicious. I'm on a mission to try everything on the menu. So far: Seabass, octopus, burrata cheese, oysters, lobster rolls are absolutely divine. Great food but we decided for Lucille's resto for its oysters offer. However, oyster's pricing was exorbitant so i decided for grilled octopus, my wife Beef tartare. Both were very good. Service was great. Noise level a little too high for us. Final bill very high but given the fact that all restaurants are struggling since the pandemic, it is possibly the case for the whole restaurant business to try to recoup.View more
Loved it!! Sat at the oyster bar. The 2 gents working the oyster bar & firing dishes in the wood fired oven were friendly & helpful, with good food suggestions & kept me fed with delicious, fresh oysters. The truffle burrata was fantastic as well. The selection of hot sauces was impressive, but the best one was the house brand. $1 oysters were extremely small, but surprisingly good. Carb cakes were disappointing because not very tasty. Lobster rolls were fantastic, very generous portions & definitely lobster meat. The salmon tartare starter which I had as a main dish was very liquid & the salmon taste was smothered by some kind of citrus taste. The restaurant made me think of a cage aux sports. I don't get the hype. My lobster roll was dry & not the tastiest. Quite expensive to be disappointed by something so simple. Add a beer & a dozen oysters & you're down 100$ easily. I wanted to like it but my experience was such that I will not return.View more
My favourite octopus on Greek salad was just fantastic as always. We were a party of 5 & we all had it & enjoyed it. Also the calamari was delicious. We really went all out with the $1 .00 oysters each eating a dozen they were quite good. & of course white wine. Went for lunch, great service, it wasn't too busy. We had oysters, grilled cauliflower salad, clam chowder, fish tacos, calamari & the angus beef tartare. Oysters: pretty good, not too many shell pieces to make it unpleasant. Cauliflower salad: great taste overall. Clam chowder: it was alright but I've had better. Too many potatoes IMO. Fish tacos: Fish was over cooked & ended up being dry. Calamari: nothing special, I've had better fried calamari in & around Laval. It was my first experience in that restaurant. I wad so surprised by his very bad service. Other than that all was perfect. The food is so tasty, & the atmosphere was cozy. We ordered first oyters. After 20 min I asked a soul with the oyster..when she remembered that we order oyters!! Then we ordered our main meals to come after the oyters..& here our meals with the oysters. via LibroI am sorry to say that the quality of your food has gone down considerably since the first time I ate at Lucille's a few years ago. Last night - your oysters were ok, the fish taco had burnt fish in it, my salmon tartare was meager... & the time before that the octopus was not tender & neither was the lobster in the lobster roll. Consider investing in the food that you specialize in serving. Very disappointed, you can do better. staff & atmosphere great!
