Lucille's Avenue des Canadiens is described as a lively, welcoming spot with attentive, knowledgeable service and a stylish, buzzworthy atmosphere. Across many visits, guests praise fresh seafood such as oysters, lobster rolls, octopus, and a range of tartares, along with steak and generous portions for the price. The menu and presentation are frequently noted as exceptional, with cocktails, burrata, and cauliflower and other dishes highlighted as standout choices, making it a versatile option for casual dinners or a pre event gathering. While a few reviews mention busy crowds or tables feeling close and occasional slower pacing during peak times, overall the experience is characterized by friendly staff, quality food, and good value, keeping Lucille's a popular go to for good meals and dependable service.
We were visiting Montreal this past weekend with our two children (ages 2&4). I hadn't read many reviews about people bringing young children, so wanted to leave one about our excellent experience! All of our food was incredible & the service was amazing! The drinks & food came out very fast which made dining much more enjoyable with young children. Would definitely recommend & will come again next time we visit - you can't beat the $1 oysters! 😃
The food was quite good but the portions were pretty small overall. I ordered the surf & turf & it was the only option of the four mains that we ordered that was of a decent size for the price. The service was good, nothing spectacular.
Perfect practical restaurant. Food is just perfect, service always good & the key lime pie a must! I go here monthly with friends. The midday menu has a really good value for money.
Had an absolutely wonderful dining experience here! The atmosphere was warm & welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our server was attentive & knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. The food was exceptional - fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, & beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor. The portions were generous & well worth the price. The restaurant was clean & well-maintained, & despite being busy, we didn't feel rushed. The dessert was the perfect ending to our meal. We'll definitely be returning soon & would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal & excellent service. Five stars!
It was clean, it was nice, it was a great stop. My only note would be that I wish they had more vegetarian/chicken options. However, I got the one chicken option there was & it was delicious. I REALLY appreciated that any sides you get doesn't affect the price either - something you don't experience often. We all very much enjoyed it.
