Marché Atwater offers an impressive variety of high-quality products all in one place.
The market is known for its fresh fruits & vegetables, artisanal breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, spices, & specialty items from different cultures. Everything is well-organized, clean, & clearly presented, making it easy to explore & enjoy.
You'll find local producers alongside specialty vendors offering olive oils, balsamic vinegars, dried fruits, & gourmet ingredients. The bakery section is especially strong, with fresh bread & pastries baked daily.
It's a reliable place to shop for fresh, seasonal products, quality ingredients, & unique food items, whether for everyday cooking or something more special.
Highly recommend Marché Atwater for groceries, local butchers, boulangerie & a great variety of lunch places! Highly recommend fromagerie Atwater for cheese!
Vibrant historic farmers market (indoors in the winter). Fabulous selection of merchants offering huge variety of cheese, meat, fruit, baked goods, coffee, flowers & more. Allow 2 hours!

It's stairs to get into the main building
Vibrant & abundant, alive & full of life! The market is a nice glimpse into Quebec culture through the variety of vendors & the beautiful assortment of grown in Quebec produce. The crowds also shows diversity & excitement. As much as it's a market it's also a cultural center for the city.

The atmosphere is always buzzing, with colorful stalls overflowing with the freshest fruits, veggies, flowers, & plants outside-perfect for a sunny stroll or picnic supplies.

Went at Marché Atwater to see flowers for spring. That cute little spot has a variety of products & the walk by the canal makes the experience even better I swea
awesome place , i get my honey from here, & apples in September also here.
they also got a big variety of local farms products. berries, fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, fish, sweets.
Visiting Marché Atwater is a delightful experience. I spent time exploring the incredible selection of food, from artisanal cheeses to fresh fish & nuts, & couldn't resist picking up a few items. The variety & quality of products were truly impressive. After shopping, I enjoyed a slice of pizza & some coffee, taking in the lively yet cozy atmosphere. The market's location near the canal is a bonus - I walked along the scenic path & noticed many people biking with Bixi rentals or simply enjoying the area with a coffee in hand. While I live near Jean Talon Market & often shop there, Marché Atwater offers its own charm & is definitely worth a visit. It's a great spot to grab fresh, local goods & enjoy a relaxed outing in Montreal.
What a gem of a market! Located in the charming section of Saint Henri, this farmer's market is a must visit. Next to the canal, it is easily accessible by bike or on foot. There are a variety of restaurants, local farmer's stalls, fromageries, a brûlerie, boulangeries, boucheries, & all kinds of interesting shops to explore. We come here often for fresh produce & gourmet meats & fancy viennoiseries.
It was alright. The variety was there but the prices were quite a lot higher than at other markets. The ready-to-eat options were similarly overpriced
Fantastic outdoor market with lots of variety of options for food & purchase local produce & flowers. Lots to see & many delicious places to eat!

The selection of plants & flowers is equally impressive, making it a delightful place for gardening enthusiasts. The atmosphere is lively, & the vendors are friendly & knowledgeable, always ready to offer suggestions or share insights about their produce. It's clear that the market places a strong emphasis on quality & freshness, which is evident in every stall. Marché Atwater is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the best in local produce & enjoy a pleasant shopping experience in a bustling, yet welcoming environment. Highly recommended!
Loved this place. So much variety. We are on our own Anthony Bourdain Trail so loved visiting places he had been (La Fromagerie Atwater). We bought some cheeses & meats to have our own feast.
Wow! What a delightful local market offering a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, delicious pastries, as well as beautiful flowers & plants.
Great variety; lots of activity... a fun way to spend an hour or even more...
