Very good food in a cozy, homey setting. Would definitely recommend reservations. We didn't have any & were told we could have a table if we were able to finish in a little over an hour. Since the food took a bit to get we ended up skipping dessert & any extra drinks to try to honour that (& because the hostess was clearly anxious for us to head out & handed the waitress our check immediately after we finished our entrees) We had the bone marrow, schnitzel, & lemon risotto. My husband liked his schnitzel but said he preferred the risotto overall. The Moscow moose is really good too. If we are ever back in the area we'd consider stopping again for the friendly service & tasty food.View more
Decent spot. Drinks & food came out quick. Not sure I would spend a ton of time there or eat a lot, just good spot to stop for a drink & grab a biteView more
Went out for dinner everything was amazing! The bone marrow was really good & the service was top notch. Mike the owner & Alyssa, were amazing! Would totally come back again (:View more
Feels like home... Great food...we had kale parmesan salad, bison burger truffle oil fries wi garlic aoli. Leane our server was awesome... the music from the 80 was just right.View more
Apparently I got pictures of the decor & not the food. This was a great spot around Old Montreal. My husband was obsessed with the marrow. I loved the tagliatelle. The beef tartare is hard to rate because it just wasn't to my taste, but may be to others. It needed some crunch & had a lot on it. The oysters were excellent.View more
We are in Montreal on vacation & we were looking for the best poutine. After reading some reviews we gave this a shot. It was absolutely phenomenal. I have had many poutines but never as good as this. The gravy is a truffle gravy with some spice & Smokey flavour. We had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which also was incredible. The service was top notch & it was a very charming atmosphere. 10/10 recommend!View more
By far the best poutine I've ever had. The toffee cake was also amazing. Good location, cozy atmosphere, great food. Our waitress Lianne was so friendly & gave us lots of tips about traveling Montréal. We loved this place.View more
Delicious, fresh oysters, shucked at the bar by casual, friendly owner. Beef tartare was as good as it gets. The bone marrow lived up to its reputation & was simply outstanding. Reasonably priced wine for the area. Tried some fantastic Canadian wines as well. Regular customers friendly & had great chats at the bar. Outstanding atmosphere with the feel of a place that's under constant care & love. Do not miss this place.View more
View more
Very welcoming & relaxed place. The staff was fabulous & the food was absolutely incredible! Go!!! Eat!!View more
View more
View more
Cannot recommend this place enough. Amazing food (get the Elk steak if they have it) & drinks & atmosphere. Mike is a delight. Sit up at the bar if you can! Planning a whole new trip to Montréal just to eat here again.View more
Very cosy restaurant, Nice food but a little bit expensive.View more
Nice rustic traditional decor. Great attentive service. Decent wine selection & nice cocktails. Food though was mixed. The pork schnitzel was good but unseasoned & only came with a base of mashed potatoes. The braised beef tagliatelle was very tasty but was a starter portion. Should have been double the size for a main.View more
Allez y les yeux fermés !View more
