Since its creation, Lola Rosa is non-vegetarians' favorite vegetarian restaurant. We want to prove that eating without meat is possible and delicious. We offer appetizing dishes inspired from our mothers and grand-mothers. A ragout, a curry, chilli, tomato tart and lasagna are some items found on the menu. We serve you, in a homely manner, the best Nachos in town! All in a warm decor. Try one of our local beers to pair with those Nachos. And if that's not enough to inspire you, or if you are looking for ideas for your next philosophy class, all you need to do is open our table drawers.
Overall, Lola Rosa is described as a warm, cozy all vegan spot in downtown Montreal with generous portions and friendly, attentive service; the menu earns high marks for flavorful, homemade dishes like lasagna, curries, braised tofu, nachos and a range of comforting desserts, along with a playful vibe from table drawers filled with notes left by guests; while some reviews note limited salad variety and a few items that could use more sauce or seasoning, overall guests call it a must visit with good drinks and a welcoming atmosphere, and many say they will return.
Service is great, taking great care to inform us of everything including meals that are not available right from the beginning. That was really appreciated. The food was ok for what it is since I'm not usually going to vegan restaurants, that is the main dish was pretty good. Where I deduct a star was the dessert. I ordered a brownie & it wasn't really a brownie. It was served hot which was necessary because otherwise it got hard & tough as it cooled down.

Pour une nouvelle cliente, très cool place! 😎 Super déco, super bouffe réconfortante, les gens vraiment sympathiques & endroit chaleureux pour étudier. Je recommande à 100% & surtout d'essayer la tarte au chocolat avec une boule de crème glacée fraise/basilic! Miam!
Burger unitexturel, était très "humide/mou" en bouche. Le burrito & les patates douces étaient très bonnes par contre ! Pour les desserts, je suis normalement moins fan des desserts chocolat sur chocolat, mais le meilleur qu'on a pus essayé était le gateau caramel chocolat. Sinon, belle ambiance chaleureuse avec des bureaux pour table. Somme toute, une bonne première expérience de restaurant vegan.
LOVE the Lola Rosa'family'! It's my go-to when I'm in Montreal. Milton is charming, intimate, relaxed & the staff are welcoming. The menu is simple & everything is delish. The sangria is yum. Be sure to check out the drawers at each table which contain notes/messages from previous diners. Bon appetit!
I've been coming here for the last 4 years & everytime the food & service has been spectacular. The nachos are so unique & full of flavor, I would recommend everyone to try it. The Milton branch of Lola Rosa is definitely better in terms of food & service than the Place des Arts one, speaking from experience of visiting both on several occasions. Vegan food at its best

Had an amazing time at Lola Rosa. The service was timely & our waiter was kind & extremely knowledgeable n regards to the menu. The food was delicious, however the quesadilla was advertised to have vegan queso in it, however that did not seem to be the case as it was just filled with beans & veggies. Nevertheless it was still good, just disappointed with the missing ingredient.
Petit restaurant chaleureux avec excellent service. Voici les photos de nos plats que nous avons tous aimés! L'entrée de nachos était parfaite pour trois personnes. Je vais retourner à cette succursale, car le service est excellent. Merci pour cette belle soirée!

Très bonne expérience dans ce resto vegan ! Ambiance cosy, déco en bois, service agréable. La carte est riche, bon rapport qualité-prix, je recommande ++!
The food was amazing, service was so good, only complaint is that it was uncomfortably cold to the point where we rushed to eat so that we could leave.
