Lola Rosa is widely celebrated as a cozy and inviting destination for high-quality vegan and vegetarian cuisine in Montreal. Patrons consistently praise the diverse, flavourful menu, highlighting popular dishes such as the braised tofu, nachos, lasagna, and various burgers. The atmosphere is frequently described as warm and welcoming, with a unique touch provided by the notes left by previous guests in the table drawers. While almost all feedback emphasizes the exceptional, friendly, and attentive service provided by the staff, the restaurant remains a beloved choice for both vegans and non-vegans alike, offering generous portions and great value for the price.
Very yummy vegan food, great service & cute atmosphere. Perfect for a nice summer dinnertime spot! I recommend the braised tofu, very well done perfect amount for one person & the side salad too!
The restaurant was quaint & the waitress was friendly. Sadly, the food was less than desirable. 2 orders of sweet potatoes fries were undercooked despite looking crispy. A side of rice was room temp &
two main dishes were served slightly above room temp. We sent the Indian curry back to the kitchen as the tofu was cold. I was surprised to watch the waitress reheat the dish in the microwave - including the finishing sauce not intended to be heated. The reheating resulted in an inedible meal. It was our first time at the restaurant. We were a group of six. We were disappointed with the consistency & quality of food. The food did not taste freshly prepared & while there was potential, it simply wasn't worth the 45 minute wait, price or hassle. While the waitress was apologetic, she initially offered to only remove the cost of the undercooked potatoes. Eventually, she agreed to remove one of the main meals, despite two of the meals, not being eaten because of the quality. Overall it was a very disappointing experience.
Food, service, & atmosphere were wonderful. Some of the best food we've had Montreal so far. Service was top notch. We had tacos, braised tofu, poutine, nachos & a burrito. Everyone raved about their food & we all shared. Highly recommend this place. Whether you're a meat eater, vegan, or vegetarian, you'll love the food & atmosphere.

Really delicious! Our server was a bit inattentive & we had to wait a while for her to take our order, but the braised tofu was so good it was absolutely worth it. I couldn't really taste the caramel in their chocolate caramel tart, but it was tasty nonetheless. Definitely will return sometime!
Amazing vegan dinner! 10/10 would recommend for an all vegan & homemade restaurant. Amazing food, service & atmosphere. The table drawers had cute notes.
Had the mushroom poutine, braised tofu & curry for dinner & the lemon pie as takeout dessert. 100% recommend the braised tofu with the green sauce
J'irais bien y déguster quelques mets.
It is a very nice place, the food is fantastic & the attention is great. There are little notes in the drawers that are fun to read, lovely detail. I already had the Braised Tofu & the Hemp Burger 😋. Both delicious! I recommend 👌
EVERY ORDER (chilli, curry, braised tofu, cheesesteak, hemp burger,…) was a hit! The NACHOS are a must!!🔥We also had so much fun reading the letters people left in the drawers. & a HUGE shout out to Agathe for managing orders from our big group while being super warm, attentive, & empathetic:)
Marinaded tofu & chocolate brownie were both delish! So fresh & tasty! Service was friendly & knowledgeable & the space is cozy & charming. It's hard to find good gluten & dairy free options in Montreal -this place is a must!
