Since its creation, Lola Rosa is non-vegetarians' favorite vegetarian restaurant. We want to prove that eating without meat is possible and delicious. We offer appetizing dishes inspired from our mothers and grand-mothers. A ragout, a curry, chilli, tomato tart and lasagna are some items found on the menu.
We serve you, in a homely manner, the best Nachos in town! All in a warm decor. Try one of our local beers to pair with those Nachos. And if that's not enough to inspire you, or if you are looking for ideas for your next philosophy class, all you need to do is open our table drawers.
Overall, Lola Rosa is described as a cozy, welcoming vegan-friendly spot that consistently delivers flavorful plant-based dishes and strong service. Reviewers praise the warm atmosphere, the charming plant-filled interior, and a vibe that suits casual meals, friendly gatherings, and special events. The menu impresses with a mix of comforting items and creative vegan dishes, including crowd-pleasers like burgers, burritos, nachos, poutine with mushroom gravy, chickpea fries, lasagna, and curry, with many noting fresh flavors, generous portions, and thoughtful preparation, plus drinks and mocktails that complement the meals. Both omnivores and vegans are satisfied, with many appreciating allergen-conscious labeling and options. Service is frequently described as attentive and knowledgeable, though a few reviews flag slower or inconsistent experiences on busy days. The spots are praised for value, accessibility for families and groups, and for offering a notable plant-based alternative that appeals even to meat eaters, making Lola Rosa a go-to for a casual yet flavorful dining experience.
Charming spot & delicious food! We went at 2:00 pm on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered the chickpea fries, the quesadilla, Chili with no rice & a brownie. Everything was delicious. It took a while for us to receive our main dishes but the apps & drinks were fast. Thank you, we look forward to coming back.
Good vegan & gluten free restaurant. I have tried many of theirs dishes & would recommend the lasagna & burgers. Chickpea fries are nice To drink, the raspberry lemonade is sweet & worth the try ! Spicy dishes are really spicy 🌶️
I finally decided to be here, at Lola Rosa, & what an absolute delight!!! I'm so glad I chose to eat here. The food, the ambience, the choice of music even, everything is truly amazing!!! Special mention to Afifa, who's a sweet sweet girl, very friendly & serves you with a gorgeous smile😊 Definitely going to save this restaurant in my regular go-to list.
This place is everything ♡ We were thrilled to find a vegan friendly restaurant so close to our hotel & were completely blown away by the quality of everything! Our waitress was lovely & offered honest opinions that worked out perfectly for me. Our meals & drinks were seriously well made. It's clear the kitchen has skills & experience with making vegan dishes. The ambiance was attractive, clean, & welcoming. I wish I wasn't just visiting for the day because I would have gone back again & again. I WISH there was a place like this where I live. 10/10 would recommend!
Great location for vegetarian lovers. There a very few dishes I haven't tried or don't enjoy. The latest dish I had was the Cajun burgers with fries & ketchup 10/10. I also love the service. They're quick, & friendly & will look for space for you to enjoy, even during the times busy festivals that go on during the year. I think the decor needs updating. Especially the seating. They have a nice nice idea of notes in the tables. If you go, you have 2 drawers on each side of the table filled with notes from people. This too needs updating because they used to have pens & paper inside the drawers. On my r recent visit, they only had receipts, no paper or pens. I was slightly disappointed. Overall definitely one of my favorite spots to eat in the area. Bonus points: it's cheaper than most options in Montreal.
Bonjour, je déplore que vous n'ayez pas une version en français pour vos messages. Est-ce de l'indifférence, de la négligence ou.... du mépris ? J'espère que non. Merci.
