Cute little place near Desjardin. Lovely staff. Great vegan place for anyone (meat eater or not) to enjoy. The nachos with chorizo was our favorite item. We also got the poutine which was a nice twist & the curry was a nice warm meal on this cold day. The appetizers come in two sizes which was good for us since we wanted to try multiple items. Would definitely go again.

An amazing place to eat. Warm welcome, friendly staff. The poutine…. So unique, yet so delicious. I am a firm believer in the gravy makes or breaks a poutine. This gravy definitely makes the poutine. So rich & creamy, & the mushrooms…. yes, I said mushrooms….ugh…so good. We also had the mushroom calamari & the cheese steak sandwich. Calamari texture was perfect as was the'steak'. If you find yourself in the vicinity of this gem of a place, pop in for a bite. If you're looking for a plant based eatery, you can't go wrong with this one.

Pour vrai, la nourriture est exceptionnelle & le service parfait. On a eu assez pour deux repas. Allez-y les yeux fermés & le ventre vide pour goûter à tout, on aurait adoré manger de tout. Nous avons pris une poutine à partager, puis un sandwich'brisket' & un burrito.
On aurait dû prendre des cocktails qui avaient l'air faits avec talent & amour.
Bravo c'était formidable.
Excellent food. Reasonable prices. Good service. I had a small poutine & salad & it was the perfect amount for one person. The poutine was absolutely delicious; meaty, flavorful, certainly well considered depth & texture. I came after the lunchtime rush & service was great.
I went with a friend who is vegan & enjoyed my meal. I had the signature salad, which was well prepared & beautifully presented. We ordered a poutine for the table that was also flavorful. The service was friendly & efficient. 5/5 would recommend!
Went for dinner: one of us a vegetarian, one of us (me) not, & we both loved every bit of food we had: fried oyster mushrooms, cheesesteak, & tacos asada; subbed poutine fries for regular with the cheesesteak. The black bean & mushroom gravy on the poutine was a revelation; don't miss the tacos. What a wonderful meal. Staff were friendly, helpful, good humored. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

We had a really nice experience at Lola Rosa - Place-des-Arts! The atmosphere was cozy & inviting, with friendly staff & quick service. It's a perfect spot for a casual meal in downtown Montreal, very close to Place-des-Arts metro.
We tried the Cajin burger, the nachos, & the poutine - everything was tasty & well presented. The nachos were loaded & perfect for sharing, & the burger was filling & had a unique flavor. The poutine was definitely a fun twist on a Quebec classic!
I'm giving 4 stars because I didn't realize it's more of a vegetarian/vegan-focused place - which is great for many, but I personally prefer more variety with meat options. Still, for a plant-based restaurant, it's very creative & flavorful!
Overall, a lovely place with great energy, generous portions, & a cool vibe. I would go back again, especially with vegetarian friends

Nous avons passé un excellent moment chez Lola Rosa - Place-des-Arts ! L'ambiance était chaleureuse & accueillante, le personnel sympathique & le service rapide. C'est l'endroit idéal pour un repas décontracté au centre-ville de Montréal, tout près du métro Place-des-Arts.
Nous avons essayé le burger cajin, les nachos & la poutine : tout était savoureux & bien présenté. Les nachos étaient copieux & parfaits à partager, & le burger était nourrissant & avait une saveur unique. La poutine était vraiment une version amusante d'un classique québécois !
Je donne 4 étoiles, car je ne savais pas que c'était un restaurant plutôt végétarien/végétalien, ce qui est parfait pour beaucoup, mais je préfère personnellement plus de variété avec des options de viande. Malgré tout, pour un restaurant végétalien, c'est très créatif & savoureux !
En résumé, un endroit charmant avec une bonne énergie, des portions généreuses & une ambiance décontractée. J'y retournerais volontiers, surtout avec des amis végétariens.
I've been here a couple of times! Highly recommend the braised tofu & the poutine. Good portion sizes & presentation as well.
Also want to thank Kat who was our server tonight. She did a great job being attentive to our needs, explaining the menu, & overall providing excellent service on a busy night.
Une bien belle découverte en plein quartier vivant (& donc potentiellement attrape-touristes). Ambiance impeccable & lounge, accueil souriant & nourriture impeccable! Ça change des poutines 😉. Vraiment un endroit à découvrir.

Unglaublich leckere Montréaler Poutine, und das in vegan! Gerne hätte ich das Rezept zu dieser Bratensoße! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Preise waren etwas happig und die Tische recht nah beieinander, weswegen man alle Gespräche am Nebentisch gut mithören könnte.
Best nachos ever. Poutine wasn't the best as the fries tasted like the oil was a bit old. Loved the detail of the messages from previous customers inside the drawers in the tables.
The food, service & ambience were top notch. My wife & I liked it so much we came for lunch one day & dinner the next! The portions are LARGE & absolutely delicious. We had the poutine, mushroom calamari, nachos for lunch. For dinner we had the calamari AGAIN, & in addition ordered the Cheese Steak & a quesadilla. Insanely good food!

Moi j'ai tout aimé mais nous étions un peu trop serrer contre la table voisine. Mon conjoint n'a pas aimé son burger, trop de sauce & la poutine trop de sauce. Emplacement 5 étoiles.
Nice space with excellent service. Comfort food with flair did not disappoint. We especially liked the Fried Oyster Mushrooms & Cajun Burger. Poutine was unique with button mushrooms - perhaps a bit heavy on chili powder. Hempburger was solid if not a standout dish. Chickpea fries were great with BBQ sauce. Will definitely return to try other menu items.
Excellent !! Je suis déjà végan depuis le 1er novembre 2017 .. Je suis très content d'avoir ma deuxième poutine végane qui est savoureusement délicieuse !!
This is some of the most fresh, flavorful, filling & somehow not heavy vegan food I've had. The poutine really is exceptional. I appreciate that they don't attempt to make a fake version of cheese curds, instead evoking the rich flavors & textures through ingredients such as well prepared mushrooms.
