Une chaine en pleine essor, établi en 1995, L'Oeufrier a entrepris son aventure dans un petit quartier de Laval. Le concept était de créer un restaurant de petits déjeuners où s'harmonisent tous les délices des déjeuners faits avec passion et raffinement.

Appalling service. Despite there being up to six empty tables for an extended period, the staff seemed to go out of their way to ignore the growing line of people outside. My wife & I were second in line & waited over 30 minutes before deciding to leave. I don't mind waiting, but the complete lack of acknowledgment, especially with so many empty tables, gave us the strong impression that the issues would continue even if we were seated. Based on the reviews, this appears to be a recurring problem for this diner. We won't be coming back.
I wish I could review the food, because I waited 30 minutes hungry for a table. My husband & I were the second group to arrive there, standing & waiting to be seated, with two gentlemen in front of us. During our wait, there were about 4 separate groups that walked out. There were also two tables that were empty that entire time that we waited. The staff inside seemed to make every effort to avoid eye contact with the ever growing line of people waiting to get a table. After over a 30 minute wait with no progress or any acknowledgement at all from the staff for us or the two gentlemen waiting in front of us, we left to go elsewhere for breakfast. They may have been under staffed, but that is no excuse for a total lack of acknowledgement for those waiting for so long to get a table, particularly while numerous people are leaving the establishment.

Great place to sit down for a traditional breakfast. Generous portions & high quality food. This was just the place we were looking for after 3 days in Montreal. We will definitely be back when in the area.
This was my second visit to L'Oeufrier, at a different location from my first time, as I wanted to try some new dishes. They're a brunch franchise with a wide variety of options, so there's something for everyone. No complaints about the food - it's consistent, though nothing super gourmet.
Service was excellent; I was served in Portuguese since there was a Portuguese waiter & a Brazilian waitress, both very friendly & pleasant. The place itself is nice, though you can see some wear over time, which is completely normal.

We went on a Sunday morning. It felt like there were far too few staff members for the number of customers. The team seemed extremely rushed, which led to several mistakes with my order & made the service feel a bit impersonal. I don't blame the staffas they were clearly doing their best under a lot of pressure.
I ordered the breakfast poutine. While I understand it's naturally potato-heavy, my portion was almost entirely potatoes, with very little cheese or other toppings.
Whenever we in the great city of Montreal we always drop in for the best breakfast in town.

Great little breakfast spot in a relaxed setting, I'm not much of a crepe guy but part of my meal included a banana Nutella crepe & mmmm twas good, the whole meal was great in fact. I'd go back next time I'm in Montreal

Nous avons eu un super accueil & le service était vraiment parfait ! Malgré une salle pleine, le service était rapide & efficace. Nous avons passé un super moment.
Je n'ai même pas réussi à finir mon assiette tellement c'était copieux 😅
C'était une première pour nous dans ce L'Oeufrier & nous reviendrons, c'est sûr !

I absolutely love the food here. Everything was flavorful & well prepared. The breakfast plate was filling & satisfying, the pancakes were soft & delicious, & the potatoes & meats were cooked really well. The fresh juice was refreshing & a perfect addition to the meal. Overall, great quality food & a spot I'd definitely come back to.
Stumbled upon this adorable breakfast spot- they were able to seat & serve 8 of us (4 adults, 4 kids) right away. Food was delicious & generously portioned- the iced lattes, smoothies & juices were all very, very good - & the service was so friendly. Love this place!
