Extremely disappointing experience at L'Oeufrier - 1970 Boulevard Le Corbusier, Laval, QC H7S 2K1.
When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy at all, yet we waited 10-15 minutes to be seated despite plenty of available tables. There was no proper greeting. Instead of being guided to a table, a waitress simply pointed from across the room & said,'Sit here.' Not welcoming or professional at all.
Once seated, we weren't offered water, coffee, or even acknowledged for another 20 minutes. We had to ask multiple times just to receive basic drinks - coffee, water, & lemonade - & even then, they were brought very slowly. It genuinely felt like we were inconveniencing the staff by being there.
After finally placing our order, we waited about 30 minutes for our food. During that time, employees were sitting right next to us eating their own meals. I completely understand that staff members need breaks - that's normal & reasonable. However, eating in the dining area directly beside paying customers, while talking loudly, using inappropriate language, & openly counting & flashing tip money, is extremely unprofessional.
They made eye contact with us several times while we were clearly still waiting for service. It felt dismissive & uncomfortable. If staff are taking breaks or discussing tips & personal matters, that should be done in the back, not beside customers who are waiting to be served.
The staff never checked on us once to ask if everything was okay. The food itself was mediocre at best. On top of everything, we were charged for a regular coffee, which many breakfast restaurants include with a meal.
Overall, the service was slow, disorganized, & highly unprofessional. We did not leave a tip because the service simply did not warrant one.
I would not recommend this location & will not be returning.

I visited L'Oeufrier on Boulevard Corbusier in Laval with my family, & it was a wonderful experience!
I had their smoked meat poutine with spicy hollandaise sauce, & it was absolutely delicious - rich, flavorful, & perfectly balanced with just the right kick. I also discovered their Emilia Sauce, which was excellent with eggs, fries, & more. My family enjoyed their dishes as well; everything was freshly prepared, generous in portion, & full of flavor.
The restaurant is very clean, well-organized, & family-friendly. The staff were welcoming, attentive, & made sure our experience was comfortable & enjoyable.
Overall, L'Oeufrier is a top spot in Laval for breakfast, brunch, or even a hearty poutine. I highly recommend it!

Je croyais que tout les oeufrier avait le même menu, les mêmes aliments. Très déçu de celui-ci au niveau des aliments. Les 3 étoiles vont a la serveuse & au gentil garçon qui nous a bien accueilli. Le meilleurs oeufrier ce trouve a Blainville sur Côte St-louis a Blainville.
I went to this restaurant by mistake & was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. It was delicious! They have many options varying from standard breakfast to more funky dishes. They also have a crazy selection of smoothies & milk shakes (see picture). Andreanne (sorry if i misspelled) was my waitress & she was exceptional.
We had late breakfast at L'oeufrier in Laval. Everyone from the atmosphere, service & food were excellent. They have spacious, quiet, & inviting seating inside & outside. The patio seating is in a courtyard so traffic noise is not an issue. When we arrived, Rebecca greeted us in English & French & provided us with English menus which made ordering very easy. Rebecca was friendly, attentive & provided helpful suggestions in our breakfast choices. We ordered le déjeuner du peuple, le simpliste + 1 choix, & mimi & coco font des malheurs with 3 iced coffees. The eggs (scrambled & over easy) were perfect, the potatoes (roasted & mashed) were deliciously seasoned, & crêpes were light & amazing! The cost was very reasonable & well worth it. Thank you Rebecca, we will return & ask for you next time.
Toujours un plaisir d'aller déjeuner à l'Oeufrier. Surtout en bonne compagnie. L'endroit est calme à souhait, la nourriture est excellente, les portions sont parfaites, le personnel est très attentionné, & j'adore lire le nom des plats sur le menu.
Nous avons déjeuné dans plusieurs Cora & d'autres restaurants y compris un Oeufrier & on s'attendait au même calibre. & non, là tout était différent! Le café lavazza goûtait bon (pas juste de l'eau!), les déjeuners étaient copieux & du vrai sirop d'érable accompagné les crêpes & le service impeccable. Même mon épouse qui déteste déjeuner à l'extérieur à aimé. Bravo à toute l'équipe!
