Review Summary

Overall, L'Oeufrier is described as a popular breakfast spot with a bright atmosphere and a wide menu that appeals to many tastes, and many diners note friendly, attentive service. Yet experiences vary widely, with orders missing items, dishes that are undercooked or bland, and occasional mixups like toast served with the wrong order or sauces missing. Some reviews mention long waits for drinks, refills, or the bill, and price points that feel high for the quality. Maintenance and cleanliness concerns appear in a few locations, including out of order facilities and noisy dining areas, while other reviewers praise clean spaces and appealing decor. Many compliments focus on staff friendliness and the lively vibe, and the place is often seen as a go to option for breakfast and drinks, with positive notes about fresh juices and shakes. Overall the sentiment is mixed, with strong praise for atmosphere and service tempered by repeated notes about inconsistency in food quality and value.

This morning we had a great breakfast at L'Oeufrier in Ile Perrot. As we walked into the impeccably clean, very well lit restaurant, we were greeted with a real smile & thoughtful young lady. She showed us to our table & were introduced to our waitress Malika. Another very smily & happy young lady. A real breath of fresh air from the other breakfast places in the West Island we have been to. We were served a great breakfast, got our coffee refreshed without having to ask & Malika kept checking up on us but in the most professional way. If I had a business, I would have offered her a job 😀. As we headed out the door, we noticed how all the staff there truly seemed to be loving their jobs. Great teamwork & we will be back & ask to be seated in Malika's section.

Waited ten minutes at the front before we had to ask a waitress (who saw us & passed us multiple times) if we could sit because nobody greeted us, she said someone was supposed to but offered us a table finally. It wasn't set & the seats had spilled coffee on them. Fine, she cleaned it. We were 3 & only got 2 sets of utensils. We waited another 40 minutes before we finally caught the waitresses attention & she asked if we were ready to order, we said no... Since we were never given a menu & getting her attention was not easy. We finally got menus & were able to order. I had to ask for coffee since we were forgotten in that aspect too. We finally got our food which ended up being delicious, but we'd already had a pretty bad service which soured the whole thing. We needed napkins & it was going to be another 20 minutes for sure before we'd get the waitresses attention so I got up & got my own. As a first impression.. it was not good service & I don't think they had enough staff to manage all the tables, despite it but being horribly busy. Maybe the waitress was new.. who knows, but definitely not going to bother trying again with the other options available.
