Review Summary

L'Oeufrier receives mixed feedback from patrons, with many praising the cozy, beautifully renovated atmosphere and the consistently friendly, attentive service provided by the staff. While numerous customers describe the breakfast menu as fresh, flavorful, and generous in portion size, others report significant inconsistencies regarding food quality, noting issues such as cold meals, improperly cooked eggs, and bland potatoes. Experiences with service and food preparation vary, as some visitors highlight a fantastic, top-tier dining experience while others express frustration over long wait times, missing items, and declining standards. Overall, the restaurant remains a popular go-to spot for many, though the consistency of the culinary output remains a common point of contention among guests.

Since reservations can only be made for groups of six or more, I still decided to go to L'Oeufrier in DDO because the guy I spoke with said that there may be a wait but it would be less than 15 min.
So I arrived at 11h45 with my friend & waited at the door. There were 17 people in front of us. Some waiting for a two, three or four-person table.

By the time we were sat & received our meal it took 1h40min.

We stood in line 1 hr. My friend almost passed out, I am waiting for knee surgery & was in pain. As a group we talked about going elsewhere but their menu looked so good. I informed the hostess that we were not feeling well. By then, almost all the people who were waiting were seated including people that arrived after we did. She said she couldn't do anything more.
There was nowhere to sit while waiting.

After we ordered it took 40 minutes to get our meal.

The staff was polite & other than our calm & pleasant waiter the other staff seemed frustrated, unsmiling. Maybe there is a need for more staff?

The food was served 40 min after ordering. Maybe they need more staff in the kitchen too?

They certainly need chairs at the door.

All these issues belong to the management,

On the good side, the food was good & our waiter was pleasant.

I recommend that you try this restaurant outside of peak hours.

This restaurant has so much potential but they are poorly organized.
