This spot however is a little on the careless side when it comes to quality of food. The potatoes felt overcooked/old, same with the bacon as it was extremely dry. The eggs were good, as was the crepe so I enjoyed that. My partner however ordered the eggs benedict that came with caramelized onions but instead the restaurant put raw onions. That one was a tough one, I don't think anyone should visit. The establishment needs to change how the food is prepared.
My experience at this location was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I was seated to the friendly service & great coffee, everything was perfect. The Eggs Benedict with the spicy hollandaise, crispy potatoes, & fresh fruit were served hot & were absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in Montréal!
The service was friendly & attentive but unfortunately, the food was disappointing.
The entire meal arrived only lukewarm at best. The eggs had a strange taste, & although I paid for an extra egg, I honestly couldn't tell if it was included unless the portions are normally very small. The toast was extremely hard, & the French toast was even worst, it was difficult to cut & chew.
To make matters worse, the restaurant was missing an ingredient needed for the drink I originally wanted, so I had to choose something else.
Overall, the service was good, but the quality & preparation of the food fell well below my expectations.
this was always my go place early breakfast
last few times i went it's just not the same anymore
eggs are cold over done
potatoes mash cold in the center
my friend ordered scrambled it was chopped up not scramble
too bad used to be so good
The food arrived cold. The eggs were cold. My omelette was dry, under-cooked & cold. The side was forgot twice. This is with an empty restaurant on a Saturday. The coffee was lukewarm but okay.
Came for a casual midweek breakfast with a friend. We were quickly seated. Service was friendly & quick but the eggs were so shriveled & dry & the fruit serving in the nutella crepe was dismal for the price. The potatoes were cold. I had been a regular but will not be coming back.
I had an excellent experience at this breakfast gem! From the moment I walked in, the warm & welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a perfect start to the day. The staff was incredibly friendly & attentive, making sure our coffee cups were never empty & that everything was just right. The food was delicious from fluffy pancakes, mixed mash potatoes to perfectly cooked eggs & crisp bacon. The portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming.
You can tell the kitchen takes pride in quality & consistency. Overall, it was a delightful visit, & I'll definitely be returning for another hearty, satisfying breakfast soon!
**Take note there is an early bird option on the back of the menu
Great breakfast place. I like the Eggs Benedict with guac & bacon. Officially called the'Bene Joe Guacamole'. Bonnie is a great waitress there, always chatting everyone up, making sure everything is done right, & having a good time, & have what they ordered. Their fruit bowl is always cut properly. It's the details that count.
Best breakfast hands-down, good quality, eggs, good quality, bacon good quality sausage even the Toast wow….
Most breakfast places are overrated but
l'oeufrier Satisfies your breakfast cravings & beyond.
The food was decent & the coffee was good, but the service was terrible as there were only two waitresses serving the entire restaurant. I ordered a plate of eggs Benedict & the eggs were served on white toast rather than on English muffins. I did not think it was a big deal, so I simply ate it & never bothered to send it back. When I closed the tab & paid the bill, I addressed this matter to the waitress covered in tattoos. In response, she gave me attitude & blamed me for not reading the fine print on the menu that apparently mentions that all of their eggs Benedict meals are served on white bread rather than English muffins despite having a picture in their menu advertising one of these meals as if it were served on English muffins. Furthermore, she also blamed me for not double checking with her when I placed my order since she just assumed that I already knew that they do not serve English muffins. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
