So...I went basic & tried a beef patty for my first visit & it was OK - lacked Jamaican flava. I tried my friend's veggie patty & that was just downright not good. What I will give five stars for is the amazing sorrel drink as it was definitely hitting! I will come back & give this place another try & select the oxtail & see if that has the Jamaican flavor I'm looking for.

I couldn't stop eating. Ordered an oxtail plate to go but decided to sit down to give it a taste. 10 mins later my food is gone. Great staff, tasty food & great portions. If you want to taste the islands check this hidden gem out!
Came here to try the oxtail poutine & it did not disappoint!! The price may seem steep for poutine but the portion is huge & they do not skimp on the oxtail. There was more meat than what a lot of places actually serve in an oxtail plate, & while the poutine could have used more curds, the flavours more than made up for it! I'd actually love to see them offer a smaller version of the plate because while delicious, I probably wouldn't order it for just myself as the portion is so big. We also decided to try a beef patty which had a perfect flakey pastry & delicious filling. They definitely seem to be doing West Indian & Jamaican food right here & I wouldn't hesitate to try more of their menu. Highly recommend!
Yum! We got pork jerk poutine with plantains on the side. Sooo good the sweet plantains really compliments the savoury poutine. Absolutely will be back!
Lloydies is just flat out delicious. Carribean food just satisfies in the best way. The jerk poutine was amazing & the jerk chicken with rice even more so.
L'assiette végé est super! Les pois sont pleins de saveur, un peu épicés, mais ça se balance bien. Surtout avec le riz, la salade de concombre & les plantains! Miam!

Ayoye... un peu déçu. Je laisse jamais des mauvais reviews, mais la bouffe était médiocre. Un peu de riz servi avec du poulet qui a semblait avoir la texture d'avoir été réchauffé au micro-onde. Le gateau à la noix de coco dure comme de la roche. Pour 30$? Je m'attendais à plus.
Oxtail is just okay little bit on the salty side but cooked well. Portions are a bit small for the price but it is what it is. Jerk chicken was delicious juicy & tender I'll be back for more jerk.

The food is great. The service was good. The restaurant is ok. Their jerk pork is so tender & juicy. The portions are big. Will do two meals if you're a small eater.
Edit: Thank you for making it up for last time & I really appreciate the apology! I didnt expect that much food when I got it so you guys really went above & beyond so it didn't go unnoticed, everything was delicious like always! Ordered the jerk pork for dinner & came without the pork...
La nourriture est bonne. Difficile de se faire servir en francais. M'a chargé une salade de choux, sans l'avoir eu. J'habite trop loin pour y retourner.. Ambiance fastfood, mais bonne bouffe, les prix son raisonnables en conparaison aux autres restos semblables.
As soon as I walked one the employee greeted me & girlfriend very well, felt like we were welcome to be here. We ordered the jerk chicken plate , oxtail plate , macaroni gratiné, 2 patties, 2 lemonades & nothing disappointed us at all. Thought the place would have been a bit bigger but it's really small just in & out

I've been a regular customer here. Perhaps 2-3 times a month. The last few times I've come, I've noticed a drop in the quality of the food. Porc jerk was dry, & didn't have enough sauce
I come here pretty often & though the food is great the service is just consistently awful. The staff shows no flexibility in addressing customer requests, they are arrogant & often rude. Particularly the guy with the baseball cap & the strong arms. Also no idea how one can fail so miserably at keeping fries in stock. Should be the easiest thing to have a steady supply of yet 9 out of 10 times I go there, the poutines aren't available because they ran out of fries. If you can get it, the poutine here is great but don't get your hopes up.
Lloydies on Crescent St was the best Caribbean food I've ever had, so I was a lil disappointed when it didn't hit the same at this location. My oxtail was all bones & very little meat. Overall dish was a little too salty. Had to get a side of coleslaw to help balance it out. Best thing I had was their house-made lemonade.
Ate here last Sunday afternoon after the parade & what else can be better than authentic jerk pork my son & I both thoroughly had a great meal. It's healthy eh
I wanted to try Lloydie's since moving to the Mile End but unfortunately the hype did not meet expectations. The jam patties were overly flakey & not very well seasoned with way more pastry than meat, & my jerk chicken was not all that exciting. The rice was dry & plantaines were a bit soggy. What was more annoying was ordering online takes you through DoorDash despite there not being any indication that's where you're ordering from. Therefore all items on the menu are about 20% more expensive, which sucks as I was picking it up. If ordering to go, call instead.
