Great spot with friendly staff. My partner & I found this place online so we brought some family here who are locals but had never tried Lloydie's. The jerk chicken was delicious & really tender, & they had some of the best rice & peas we've ever tasted. I also really enjoyed the plantain, & the macaroni pie was decent too. We really wanted to try the oxtail but unfortunately they were sold out of it that day. The large portion sizes & fair prices also really impressed us. The staff were super nice & gave us some free dessert before we left! We will try to come back again next time we visit.

Got the jerk chicken plate, the meat is very tasty & tender. Accompanied by a fluffy & flavourful rice. The plantain was cooked to perfection!

Very delicious food amazing workers super kind. I got the coconut coleslaw & jerk chicken plate super tender meat & great amount of rice & also they give 4 plantain pieces but I suggest you ask for mor pay extra

J'ai commandé une assiette de poulet jerk &, dans l'ensemble, j'ai beaucoup apprécié mon expérience. Le poulet était malheureusement un peu trop cuit, donc légèrement sec, mais la portion était très généreuse. Gros coup de coeur pour le plantain sucré, qui était absolument délicieux ! ☺?

J'ai appelé à l'avance pour faire préparer ma commande & le service a été impeccable du début à la fin. La personne au téléphone a même pris le temps de m'indiquer où je pouvais stationner mon véhicule le temps de récupérer mon repas, un geste vraiment attentionné, surtout qu'il est très difficile de trouver une place de stationnement dans ce secteur.

Malgré ce petit bémol concernant la cuisson du poulet, c'est une belle adresse que je n'hésiterais pas à revisiter.

The jerk chicken is super tender, & deeply flavourful with a punch of flavour in every bite, right to the bone! Be sure to grab the coconut coleslaw to complement the savoury rice & peas. Plantain was to the perfect ripeness as well! this was a very balanced meal & I would definitely come back, especially for that chicken. Portions are massive too so come hungry!

Highly recommend this place for great food. The Jerk Chicken w/ rice, beans & plantains is great. & the poutine is the best I've had so far in Montréal. Had to go back for more.

Food was delicious! We loved the fried & jerk chicken, rice & beans & fried plantain. Service was fast & professional. & the atmosphere was relaxed. We came by bus from Ahuntsic for a little foodie adventure, & were not disappointed. We are coming back. Next time... for oxtail!

Lloydie's was phenomenal. I've had some interesting fusion Poutines in Montreal but the deliciously ripe & caramelises Plantains & the Jerk Sauce they had here was unbelievable. Loved that, loved the legume patty & their warm hospitality! A very unique culinary experience in the city.

Quelle belle trouvaille! Par où commencer?
* Quantité de ouf!!! (j'ai pris l'assiette aux légumes) yavait la banane plantain mais au complet, même chose pour la salade de concombre! Yavait le concombre entier là dedans! (photo à l'appui)
* Le goût juste wow!
* rapidité, ben voyons j'ai à peine eu le temps de m'asseoir!
* endroit vintage j'adore
* personnel super fin 💛
* prix un gros 15$ lol
