Display Allsalad(5) leyles(4) salad bar(3) kosher(3) bar(3) options(3) updated(3)Updated September 4, 2024 They updated their prices. The breakfast used to be $36 for 2 people, it's now $46 for 2 people. The menu still says $36. New staff are not as friendly. Incredible ambience. Amazing food & really great service. The owner takes pride in his establishment & it shows. There menu is constantly changing & you never know what delicacy you will find. I gave the rating 4 stars because of their lack of vegan & gluten free options & no effort has been made as of yet, to have options. This is very important to me. Updated January 17 2023 It's now under new ownership & it's fantastic. We opted for the Boker in the Shuk. It was beautifully presented & very tasty. They had hot almond milk for my coffee, which makes me very happy. The ambience is great & I highly recommend. It just so happens to be kosher as well.View more
A big wow! to Leyleys Trendsetter Salad Kosher Salad Bar at Décarie Square. I recently visited LeyLey's Trendy Salad Bar, & it was a delightful experience! This bistro primarily features a salad bar, but their menu extends to include breakfast & lunch options as well. From sandwiches & wraps to their signature poke bowl meals & desserts, LeyLey's sitdown restaurant (40 ppl max) has a wide array of offerings to satisfy your cravings. During my visit, I tried the Caprese ciabatta sandwich & a cappuccino. The cappuccino had a thick, creamy layer with a lovely chocolate presentation. The ciabatta bread was wonderfully fresh, & the mozzarella cheese was perfectly melted. The basil pesto spread added a delightful flavor, & the tomato had just the right firmness. What set this meal apart was the "coulis" dip of cilantro & lime – a special touch that I savored until the very last drop. Presentation-wise, it was spot on. If you're in Montreal & looking for a quick bistro bite, especially with Rosh Hashanah around the corner, LeyLey's Kitch is a great choice. It's conveniently located not too far from downtown, & the atmosphere is enhanced by cool Israeli beats. Vanessa, our attendant, was vibrant & presented herself nicely. However, one area that could use improvement is staffing. During busy lunch rushes, it can get a bit overwhelming. The presence of Latin, Moroccan, & Caribbean personnel is interesting, but they might benefit from being more engaging & helpful, especially when handling Uber orders.
Overall, LeyLey's Kitch is a must-visit for its delicious food, great atmosphere, & potential for even better service during peak hours.View more
