Food was good but it's prepped as much more fancy than it is. Waiter was playing the high gastronomy card. I had the steak, it was good but it was a steak nothing fancy about it.

A group of us went to Les Enfants Terribles Laval for a birthday dinner, & everything was fantastic! We shared the calamari, bufala cheese & bread, steak tartare, Asian tartare, chicken burger, steak frites, & oysters, & all of it was delicious! The margaritas & ginger mocktails were also a hit. The atmosphere was perfect: lively but not too loud, so we could actually chat without yelling across the table.

Excellent service, courtois & efficace.
Sans le savoir, il y a un 5 à 7, même le samedi soir. Bières & vins disponibles au verre à moitié prix, ainsi que les huîtres à 1 $.
Nous avons savouré la pieuvre, les côtes levées & le steak en plats principaux. Tous étaient unanimes : c'était délicieux & savoureux.

Service très aimable, mais un peu dépassé & un peu long. La nourriture est correcte mais un peu chère & un peu trop salée. Le cuisinier ne sait pas vraiment ce qu'est un steak médium, il a eu tendance à nous faire des bavettes très saignantes.

Le service Était lent, j'ai pris le steak frites, la bavette était meilleure que j'aurais pensé, mais pas extraordinaire, j'ai pris le jus de boeuf en extra pour trois dollars quand même assez cher pour ce que c'est, les frites étaient molles vraiment pas croustillantes alors c'est dommage, c'est un plat trop cher pour ce que c'était

Despite multiple attempts by the cook to prepare the steak correctly, it took three tries to get it right. While the final result was satisfactory, achieving a blue steak should not have been such a challenge. The service, however, was commendable. The restaurant offered to cover our drinks & provided a complimentary plate of chips while we waited for the correct steak. However, despite being told all drinks would be covered, only a part of our drinks were paid for - specifically, the wine ordered for the steak, not the cocktails. The staff's visible disappointment matched our own frustration with the situation. Although the third attempt had the right level of doneness, the quality of the steak itself was still below expectations. Additionally, the facilities were lacking; multiple stalls in the restroom had no toilet paper, which further detracted from the overall experience.

Un peu deçue de mon expérience. La soupe à l'oignon est très vinaigreuse. Etant une grande fan de cette dernière, elle n'était vraiment pas fameuse. De plus, ma soupe a été oubliée & je suis restée a regarder les autres manger sans rien puis une fois redemandée, ils m'ont amener la soupe à l'oignon & mon steak en meme temps 🤷🏼‍♀️ mon steak est bien sure devenu tout froid, ils l'ont réchauffer une fois demandé. Vu cela, les autres sont ensuite rester a me regarder manger car ils avaient biensur terminé. Bref, c'était un souper d'anniversaire raté - dommage car je ne croyais pas me tromper en choisissant les enfants terribles. Le dessert m'a été offert, mais malheureusement le tout était deja pas mal scrappé. Bref, Pour un souper a près de 200$, je m'attendais a mieux.

My 2 negative points are : the service was too slow & what I ordered ( pain doré) wasn't what I excepted. Their pain doré is literally a mini loaf of bread, encrusted & served with 2 coulis...I needed a steak knife to cut threw it. It was disappointing. The positive : ambience & deco is nice. The rest of the order was enjoyed by everyone.
I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Overall a very good experience! The desserts were delicious & I heard that the mocktails were equally good.
Rooms for improvement would be to present the bill a bit quicker after the desserts are completed. The bavette was perfectly cooked although the steak spice was very salty, bordering on too salty.
Look forward to seeing you again this Tuesday for another meal!

Très cher pour la qualité de nourriture servie, 42$ pour un spaguetti au homard qui etait sec & peu gouteux & avec peu de homard…
Bavette de boeuf qui goute le bruler & qui n’a pas l’air d’une bavette mais plutot d’un steak cheap de resort dans le sud…
Je trouve que pour le meme prix on a des restaurants bien meilleur avec de bons produits avec plus de fraicheur & de qualité tout simplement.

Facture totale de 300 $ , mais vraiment pas bien investi malheureusement… Je n’y retournerai jamais, mais service très bien & beau resto.
