My bf brought me to this wonderful place with so much choice of sweet dessert & delights I was like a child in a candy store not knowing what to choose. I took the pistachio cake & it was absolutely delicious. I'm definitely going back & I definitely will continue to buy all my sweets desserts here! It was also a pleasure for me to meet the owner you're a really nice gentleman thank you, Mr. Ruvo!
One of my favorite bakeries in town. I recently tried the lulus, & they are incredibly filled. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, that's probably for the best, or I'd find myself here every day. The service is quick & friendly. I definitely recommend this place.
I've been a loyal customer of Les Délices Lafrenaie for many years, but after today's experience, I'm reconsidering my patronage. While waiting at the counter to be served, I noticed a young staff member who clearly saw me but chose to ignore me, continuing to assemble cake boxes instead. After waiting patiently, I politely asked if she could assist me. Her response was, "Today, I'm only supposed to make boxes." I suggested that if her task was solely box assembly, she should perhaps do so in the back, away from customers who are waiting for service. She eventually stopped & served me, but her attitude was shockingly rude. She rolled her eyes at me & when handing over my order, she said, "Here," & walked away. This level of customer service is unacceptable, & unfortunately, it's left a lasting negative impression. It seems that this will be my last visit to Les Délices Lafrenaie.
Amazing discovery. This bakery is top tier. Great selection of cakes, pastries, Italian products & so much more. The cakes are DELICIOUS! Moist, flavourful, not too sweet, well balanced. The Biscoff is so tasty. Prices are very fair, will now go back for every celebration. Note that they only take cash or debit.

Disappointing that I cannot talk to someone in person to order a custom cake for a celebration. Was told to find a photo & order it on-line. I said I preferred to talk to someone to get suggestions but was told: "Find a photo of a cake you want. You don't know how to email a photo?" Thanks :( Will try out Amaretti.
One of, if not the best bakery in Montreal. Everything here from the zeppole to the cakes are out of this world. They have everything you need for all kinds of occasions. Can't recommend this & all the other stores enough.
