Très bonne cuisine, des plats goûteux, fins & beau dressage. Très bon service. Le seul hic c'est le brouhaha dans la salle aux heures de pointe. Une bonne adresse que je recommande.
Excellent service, excellent fresh food, good quality coffee, bread & side orders are just as well as everything. I ordered oeufs pochés, saucisses, bacon, rattes & fèves au lard au comité de canard & was just perfecto. The eggs, the charcuterie, even the potatoes were very well done! If you don't want to wait or to get in the very bottom table (even that last table is very nice & the place is full on weekends), don't forget to make reservations, the terrace is so nice!
J'étais très heureux à l'idée de retourner dans ce restaurant qui a été le témoin de si agréables souvenirs. Réservation faite en bonne & du forme comme celle de ces deux jeunes femmes devant moi qui, disent-elles, espèrent bien avoir une table en terrasse. À l'évidence des habituées puisque l'hôtesse leur dit qu'elle « va leur arranger cela bien qu'elle n'ait pas réservé en terrasse ». Quand je formule le même souhait, je me fais signifier qu'il faut au moment de la réservation spécifier en terrasse! Mon sourire ne semble pas être aussi convaincant que celui de ces dames. Dommage puisque sans doute le niveau des décibels est moins élevé en terrasse. À peine sommes-nous assis, que le bruit ambiant est déjà insupportable. C'est très gênant d'avoir à faire répéter son invité pendant tout le repas à cause de cette agression sonore généré par les conversations des voisins. Nous voulions nous échapper de ce tintamarre en ne prenant qu'un plat & un café bu rapidement mais le service bien qu'élégant, est hyper lent, ce qui nous forcer à prolonger notre supplice. Cote plat, le foie de veau était trop cuit & les moules dont je rêvais étaient sans goût. Les frites étaient parfaitement croustillantes & savoureuses. 64,14$ (42,87€) pour des moules frites avec un généreux verre de mauvais vin (3,6 sur Vivino) c'est une expérience à ne pas renouveler.
Great place good food but loud & unfortunately slow service I understand the restaurant is full however it doesn't make for a good experience to wait so long for your food

Mes invités & moi, nous étions déçus du service & des plats que nous avions commandés. Avant, j'y allais plus souvent & je sortais quand même satisfaite mais là, je pense que ce fut notre dernière visite.
Nice & lovely restaurant!! I highly recommend here! 1. Perfect seasoning level. I think chef has trained their cooks very well. 2. Moderate portion size. Thus, the price seems to be reasonable. 3. Nice staff, especially lovely servers. They didn't disturb customers which means they focus on just serving, not begging tips from customers. Thanks!
All in all, we were satisfied with the food. The crab cakes were a little disappointing ! I would not recommend this appetizer as they did not stand out in any way. The main dishes were all great : salmon tartare was perfectly seasoned + came with a choice of either green salad, French fries or veggie of the day (which was green beans : the waiter suggested a green bean salad). The option of a different side for the tartare was very refreshing & the green bean salad complemented the tartare very well ! The scallop main dish was filling enough which sometimes isn't the case depending on portion sizes ! The grilled beef hanger steak was quite good & came with enough fries for 4 people ! Finally, special mention to the salted butter served with fresh baguette as we waited for the food to arrive. That butter was creamy & flavourful, one of the best butters I have had in Montréal so far !! Great atmosphere, great waiter, great attention to our table & needs throughout the evening 🌃 Thanks Lemeac 😊
A delicious meal, wonderful environment, easily the best part of our experience was our server Lisa. She was so helpful & kind & such a pleasant part of our dinner.
We went there tonight relying on the positive reviews but were disappointed. Food was not bad, but not great either. I would say every dish was 3 out of 5. Service was also sloppy- but it might have been a new waiter, so that's ok. It was our first night in Montreal. Hope we will be luckier tomorrow at Joe Beef.
I love this restaurant. Equally fantastic for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Food is delicious, great drinks (try the old fashion - I'm obsessed), impeccable service. The restaurant is very cute & has very clean washrooms.
Highly recommend this place. Their Mediterranean fish soup is full of flavors. Their escargots with basil sauce is like a piece of art & it tastes delicious. The manager & the wait staff were all very friendly & professional. They just want their guests to enjoy the meal & have a good time.
