The food was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The staff was super friendly & made us feel welcome. The cozy vibe & anime-themed decor added a fun touch to the evening. Highly recommended if you're craving authentic Japanese rice bowls in Montreal!View more
A bit on the upscale/ expensive side, but dining in made it worth it for the atmosphere & hospitality. The food was very delicious & authentic tasting. Very friendly & educational service from the staff, learned a lot about the food & culture. Would recommend to Japan culture enthusiasts.View more
They make relatively good food & it had a rather authentic izakaya feel. The rice is good quality & well cooked & they have a good umami mix of flavor in their Donburis. I was a little disappointed that their tonkatsu was not fluffy & a little overcooked to dryness, but at least the bowl made up for that in flavors & quality ingredients.View more

**Authentic Japanese Experience at Ledon donburi** Ledon donburi is hands down one of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of dining at. From the moment you step in, you are greeted with a warm & inviting ambiance that feels like a slice of Japan in the heart of the city. The decor is elegant & minimalistic, with traditional Japanese elements that set the perfect mood for a memorable meal. Now, let's talk about the food-absolutely phenomenal! The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Japanese dishes, each prepared with the utmost care & precision. I tried their signature Donburi bowls, & I was blown away by the freshness of the ingredients & the depth of flavors. The rice was perfectly cooked, & the toppings, whether it was the tender beef, fresh sashimi, or the delicate tempura, were all seasoned to perfection. The attention to detail extends to every aspect of the dining experience, from the beautifully presented dishes to the attentive & knowledgeable staff who are more than happy to explain the menu & make recommendations. The quality of the food & the authenticity of the flavors make it clear that Ledon donburi is a restaurant that takes pride in delivering a true Japanese dining experience. Whether you're a fan of Japanese cuisine or just looking to try something new, Ledon donburi is a must-visit. The prices are reasonable for the quality, & the portions are generous. It's the perfect spot for a casual lunch, a special dinner, or even a quiet evening out. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu. Highly recommended!View more
A rather small interior is more than made up for by quality of the food. The authentic Japanese flavours are delicious, & the cocktails are fun Japanese-inspired takes on familiar drinks. The service is very friendly & sufficiently quick, plus the prices are extremely reasonable for a quality restaurant. For fans of Japanese cuisine, this place is a must. We will definitely be going back!View more
Wow! Just wow! One of the best stops in Montreal to a warm Japanese food that scapes the obvious. GREAT STAFF! LIKE, 20/10 on service. I was a server for a very long time & can identify authentic & good customer service. These ppl are PASSIONATE! I ate so fast i forgot to take pics but good looks incredible too!View more
One of the best restaurants not just in Beaubien, but Montreal as a whole. The location is akin to a hole-in-the-wall narrow kitchen of magic, but it only adds to the authentic Japanese experience. The limited space & seatings helps with the intimate atmosphere & very responsive customer service (you are always in speaking distance of the waiters & cooks). What a gem.View more
