The food & drinks were delicious. However, the waitresses are careless & ignorant. They don't take their job serious, at all. Instead of checking out on the customers, they always gather on top of the stairs & talk with each other. I tried multiple times to make an eye contact with them to ask them to bring the receipt & they tend to ignore the eye contact & keep talking with each other. The name of the waitress for our table was Emmy (or Amy). She was not listening to what we were ordering. I told her about my allergies & asked her to not put the mayonaise sauce inside my burger & she still added the sauce inside. She then went inside the bar & kept us waiting for 1 hour (YES 1 HOUR!) before bringing the receipt. Finally, I walked away from my table to look for her to tell her to bring our receipt. The way she & other waitresses was unprofessional, & I won't come back to this place until they have professional staff for service.View more

Nice two floor bar with plenty of seating & drink options. The music is excellent. The drink options are OK - not enough beer options & a bit pricey for shots (CAD$6.50/shot minimum), but beers were good. Overall I would recommend as a nice stop to go with a group of friends.View more

I went in last night for a solo date, as my social anxiety is terrible & i moved to this city by myself, so i wanted to take myself out. There was a group prior to me, who the server spoke to no problem, & i was waiting behind them. He saw me & basically ignored me. Went outside to serve others. I waited by the door for 5 minutes until i went to ask the lady at the bar if i could just sit or needed to wait. She gave me this unfriendly look, no smile whatsoever. She asks to see my ID.. which, I'm clearly of age but sure. I give it to her & she gives it back to me after examining it.. No enjoy, have a good time, nothing. She tells me i can sit in the middle & proceeds to see me sit there for 10 minutes. Not once did she send someone to help me but helped a man that came in after me? After about 10 minutes of white men servers just passing me by & helping everyone around me. I really wanted to leave. Finally this man in a white T-shirt & cute nails asked if anyone helped me. He had to apologize. There were other discrepancies like them not having debit, just cash & credit? I hated my experience & as a black woman, i find there's nowhere to really feel welcome in this city. Theres a constant level of racism that's unfortunate & i definitely felt it in this establishment. I will never go back & i don't recommend that black women who are solo go there.View more

Food was ok...not great. Service was HORRENDOUS. Our original waiter's shift was ending so we had to pay but then mo one came to take our order for extra drinks or food. We called & no one came even though the staff was all waiting in front of the bar. We ended up leaving & going to another place. I will not be going back to the Cresent location. Drinks were suppose to be half price but we were charged full (between 2 PM & 5 PM cocktails are half off). Prices for food are ok...but this isn't a restaurant. It's a bar with average snacks that compliment your booze of choice.View more

Me & a friend went here randomly on Boxing Day (12/26/2023) & were amazed by the atmosphere here. We sat at the bar & both of the bartenders were actively & happily serving people. The DJ was dishing out some amazing beats. & the combination of the two, meant that the whole crowd inside was having a good time. Had gone to El Furniture Warehouse earlier that evening & it was dead compared to this one. Loved this place & will visit again the next time I am in Montréal.View more

A good spot to come with friends. It has two floors & always has a nice mix of retro & current music. The food has gradually gotten more expensive over the years & no longer boasts the $5 menu it used to but you can still get some fair bar food. I have also been here for a few events & found myself having a great time. It’s a large space that always attracts a crowd.View more
