Le Vieux Gusta Dorval is described as a reliable go-to with generous portions and a menu that shines on pizza, pasta, poutine, and fried chicken, backed by consistently friendly and attentive service. The pizza is frequently praised for being tasty and satisfying, and the fried chicken and other comfort dishes are noted for good flavor and solid preparation, with meals often arriving hot and well presented. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy rustic vibe and a pub feel that makes it a good spot to watch a game or dine with family, though busy nights can be loud. Some visits mention occasional longer kitchen times or small menu quirks, and a few reviewers warn about online ordering or billing issues that require careful checking. Overall, Le Vieux Gusta Dorval comes across as a well-loved, family-friendly option with broad options and dependable service.
Jenna is the best bartender I've ever had, she goes above & beyond to make you're experience worth it. I would 100% suggest going to this place, food & drinks are always amazing

A truly distinguished experience. Chef Maardan's mastery is evident in every detail refined, thoughtful, & exceptional. Marc at reception is impeccable, offering a level of hospitality that makes you feel nothing short of royalty. From arrival to farewell, everything is polished, elegant, & memorable. An absolute standout.
food was excellent as always, but service could be better, all waitresses were pretty young & were having a hard time, mine got mixed up in our orders. Ambiance was really loud, but I would try again
