We sat at the bar for dinner. The fact that it wasn't busy on a Saturday night should have told us something. After a couple beers, we ordered chicken fingers with onion rings & fish & chips. Both were large portions & the quality was good but not great. It irritated us that we were charged $.75 for an extra tartare sauce. Our bartender Tara was personable & efficient. But we wish we had waited in line for our first choice.View more

Irish pup but no Irish musicals be careful look at your bill we were charged twice ,out $50 dollars .We went back to the bar next day waiter realize what our server did but nobody call us or won't answer our calls . Owner seemed to be genuine but I guess we were on that account also.Please check your tab.View more

This is exactly what you want in an Irish Pub: large, cold beers, full bar with many whiskeys, pub food. We had the fish & chips & onion rings, & it was excellent: light batter, large portion, tangy coleslaw. Nachos on the table next to ours also looked good.View more

Omg, 1st time here. Hotel is right around the corner (Birk Hotel) so how convenient. We 3 girls sat at the bar at 4 p.m. & as of 630 p.m. we're still here. Very friendly service, bartenders (Arlene & Marc) we're awesome. Recommended places that we inquired about; we snacked & ate here but needed to move on. Asked for recommendations & the bartenders were right on it. The food is Pub Fare & very very good. Would we come back? AB SA FAWK EN LOOTLY. EnjoyView more

When traveling in any town a visit to an Irish Pub is always in order. Le Vieux Dublin in Montreal did not disappoint. There was 1 bartender who handled a full bar & a few tables & made it look easy. There were many great Irish Whiskey selections & it seemed many more pint options. The customers were friendly & even bought me a couple pours of good whiskey. Just had a pint of beer & french fries.
But the French fries were sooooo good!!
Next time I'll have a meal.
The only con is that the service was very slow.
