Overall, Le Trèfle Taverne Irlandaise is described as a lively pub with a warm vibe, a strong beer selection and food that is flavorful and well presented, with generally attentive service and a convivial atmosphere that suits both brunches and evenings; some visits noted a chilly dining room in winter, occasional gaps in service or value, and a few comments about family friendliness, including limited accommodations for young children and higher prices on the menu.
Nourriture délicieuse, service impeccable, ambiance de pub par excellence. Prix raisonnable. A essayé absolument. Le fish n chips & le tartare de thon étaient insane! & les huitres 6/12$. Les cocktails étaient également tres bons, tout est la!
The food was surprisingly good for a pub, & I meant in a good way, I don't expect to find duck confit legs or a great tartare at a pub but this place was amazing!

Food is very good, though definitely on the pricier side for an Irish pub.
Service leaves a bit to be desired. 5-10 minutes for drinks, appetizers coming after the main course, & our waiter had to be reminded to bring the check multiple times.
Its a beautiful pub. The drinks are good. The food is sad. This is an Irish pub, I expected corned beef & cabbage, Shepard's pie, lamb chops, bangers & mash... the food is seriously lacking in that regard. The service is nothing special & staff is borderline rude.
Mussels tasted off, Irish stew was bland & fish n chips was a child's portion of fish. Really good fries. Beer was cold & good though, friendly attentive service & nice dark pub. Best to stick to beer & fries. Waitress was extremely nice & caring.
First time at this local Irish Pub on Wellington. Honestly expected more. The food was ok for pub food but service fell short. We had to ask for ketchup & waited for one tiny paper cup ( we were 4 ppl ). The waiter seemed unfriendly & lacked any personality. There are much better choices to get pub food in Montreal. Oh & to top it off the water in the bathroom sink was shut off!
Their chili & chips tasted like there was ketchup & barbecue sauce in it. Very disappointing. A little silly that they can't offer fries or poutine on their late night food menu. My cocktail was good, can't remember the name though. Typical pub atmosphere. Service was alright.
