Le Surcouf is a welcoming French restaurant established in a Victorian home for over 45 years now. Dominique and the chef Serge will be pleased to help you discover the fine French classic cuisine. In the fall the restaurant offers a special game menu in addition to their regular table d'hôte that you create yourself.

Excellent à tous les points de vue voir même à l'accueil.
Service avec personnel très compétent & attentionné; le temps de manger & surtout de déguster & savourer chaque pièce & de recevoir l'autre partie du repas en temps raisonnable, pas de bousculade. Bon conseil sur le choix de vin, excellent même.
Tout était parfait, même le couple/voisin de la table d'à côté! Des gens bien gentils du plateau mont royal.
Le seul point faible fut le groupe quelque peu bruyant de 12 personnes à l'arrière de nous sur la véranda. Mais bon, presque rendus à notre départ à ce moment.
Votre gentillesse fut très appréciée en nous offrant un certificat cadeau de 25$ pour notre prochaine visite.

The cooking crew were very friendly as we trundled through with a wheelchair. The online booking is great. Can't say enough good things about Le Surcouf.

We hadn't been to Le Surcouf since Covid. We were not disappointed with our recent visit. We couldn't have picked a better restaurant to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary.
We chose from the bistro menu. My wife had a superb filet of sole amandine & I had the excellent beef shoulder steak.
The service was top notch & the ambiance of an old family home in a quaint little town can't be surpassed.
To top off the evening our main server presented us with a $25 gift certificate to celebrate our anniversary. She remembered!!🥰

Très bel endroit à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Nous avons tout apprécié: chacun des items de notre repas était délicieux, les petites inclusions (petit amuse-gueule, sorbet, dent sucrée) étaient très bien, le service était excellent (il y a une belle collaboration de tous). Nous y allions pour la première fois & nous voulions tout essayer! L'endroit est vraiment charmeur. Un grand merci à l'équipe pour une super première expérience!
