Le Surcouf is a welcoming French restaurant established in a Victorian home for over 45 years now. Dominique and the chef Serge will be pleased to help you discover the fine French classic cuisine. In the fall the restaurant offers a special game menu in addition to their regular table d'hôte that you create yourself.

Tellement bon & dans un décor de rêves. Personnel très attentionné. C'est toujours un pur plaisir de passer du temps au restaurant Le Surcouf. Fan à vie.
Atmosphère chaleureux , service impeccable, stationnement, un chef talentueux, propriétaire sympathique...tout était parfait!
Belle carte des vins, le foie gras poêlé excellent entre le sucré, salé & un choix de menu très varié pour tous les goûts...
Following an evening stroll along the boardwalk, three of us enjoyed a very pleasant dinner at Le Surcouf. Everything was beautifully presented & delicious. The server was friendly & attentive without being overbearing. The little extra touches were a fun surprise - chorizo & gouda mini muffins & artisanal bread before the appetizers, apple sherbet between courses & little sweet puffs to send us on our way. A very lovely evening & we will be sure to return when next in the area.

Si délicieux, WOW ! J'ai trouvé la PERLE RARE ! À 4 personnes, entre amis un samedi soir, très agréable ! Mon plat de rognons de veau dijon était succulent ! Le choix pour les plats est nombreux & varié. Le petit pain sans gluten, très artisanal & irrésistible ! Le hors d'oeuvre du moment, gateau foie de pintade, exquis ! Quel plaisir ! & en plus, des surprises gâteries, gracieuseté du Chef tout au long du repas : bouchées en hors d'oeuvre muffin au chorizo & fromage, trou normand sorbet pour la suite & chocolats fourrés maisons en coupe pour la fin , tous meilleurs les uns que les autres ! Avec une bonne bouteille de vin, quels délices ! & en plus , le foyer donne une atmosphère chaleureuse ! Notre table était bien distanciée en ces temps de pandémie. & une vraie crème brûlée pour le dessert, pas un flan au caramel, délicieuse & authentiquement française ! Nous sommes arrivés à 18 h & départ après 22 h, sans voir l'heure, quelle bonne causerie ! Le service est très bon. Stationnement facile au bord de l'eau. Belle marche sur la promenade au bord de l'eau. Un grand MERCI au Chef & à l'équipe ! J'ai ADORÉ ! J'y retourne bientôt !
