Le Surcouf is a welcoming French restaurant established in a Victorian home for over 45 years now. Dominique and the chef Serge will be pleased to help you discover the fine French classic cuisine. In the fall the restaurant offers a special game menu in addition to their regular table d'hôte that you create yourself.
Le Surcouf consistently earns praise for excellent French cuisine, impeccable service, and a warm, elegant atmosphere in a charming old house with multiple intimate rooms. The wine list is excellent and dietary needs are well accommodated with gluten free options, making it a reliable choice for special occasions and relaxed dinners alike. While some guests note that prices can be on the higher side and that service can be slower on busy nights, the overall experience remains memorable and consistently high quality.

C'était ma première visite au restaurant.
Dès que nous sommes entrés, nous avons été accueillis avec un agréable sourire.
Le menu nous a été bien expliqué & notre serveuse Magalie ainsi que ses collègues ont été présente & souriante tout au long de notre repas. Le repas a été délicieux, la cuisson du poisson & du filet mignon a été parfaites.
Merci à toute l'équipe pour ce repas tout simplement délicieux.

C'est un excellent restaurant les repas, le service & l'atmosphère sont impeccable. Nous sommes chanceux d'avoir ce merveilleux restaurant dans notre région.
Enfin un resto pas trop bruyant qu'on peut se parler & que l'ambiance est très bonne. On a pu compter sur les conseils du serveur pour le vin ce que j'apprécie. Tout le personnel était professionnel & courtois. C'est ma 2ième visite en deux mois & ce n'est pas les dernières.

Food was quite good overall. Service was friendly but not great: we sat at our table for almost 10 minutes without menus after being seated initially. Kitchen/waitress forgot to put any dressing on my salad. We waited close to 40 minutes after our appetizers for the mains to come, etc. Good but not great overall experience.
