Le Surcouf is a welcoming French restaurant established in a Victorian home for over 45 years now. Dominique and the chef Serge will be pleased to help you discover the fine French classic cuisine. In the fall the restaurant offers a special game menu in addition to their regular table d'hôte that you create yourself.

We just keep going back, as Dominique & her staff always provide outstanding food & service. If there is a problem which seldom occurs, they will rectify it immediately.
My husband & I were travelling through Montreal & found reviews of Le Surcouf on line. We were not disappointed. Everything was excellent from the friendly greeting from the hostess, the warm ambiance, the attentive staff &, of course the excellent food.
All to the high standard to which we have become accustomed as regular patrons. The chef's specials are high on our list of preferences & gluten-free options are tantalizing. We'll return.
C'est toujours un plaisir de retourner au Surcouf. Tous les plats choisis hier soir étaient absolument divins. L'accueil & le service sont toujours très cordiaux. C'est un endroit parfait pour célébrer un anniversaire. J'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner.
