Le Surcouf is a welcoming French restaurant established in a Victorian home for over 45 years now. Dominique and the chef Serge will be pleased to help you discover the fine French classic cuisine. In the fall the restaurant offers a special game menu in addition to their regular table d'hôte that you create yourself.

Le Surcouf is our favourite restaurant in the West Island of Montreal. Very quaint & elegant. Owner & staff, food, ambience - everything is TOPs. Fabulous French cuisine with innovative delicious dishes. Lots of variety. Even the bathrooms are quaint & super clean. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We both ordered from the daily specials. &, our meals, service, & added touches (e.g. palate refreshers, etc.) were to the excellent standard that brings us back regularly. Thank you for the value of fine dining on which we rely & that we have come to enjoy.
Notre expérience fut magnifique comme toujours. La nourriture, le service & la gentillesse du personnel ont fait que nous avons passé une soirée magnifique. Tout simplement le meilleur restaurant du West-Island.
This was our first time coming here. The restaurant situated in a house is very quaint. Were foodies & I can tell you this place would take a back seat to any restaurant. The service was very friendly & professional. In not knowing what to try our waitress was very helpful & very nice about all the questions. The beef tartare was excellent with a little spice to start. The lobster bisque outstanding. The article char was very flavourful & rhe filet with peppercorn was amazing. The desserts were black forest cake & the chocolate molten cake. Both excellent. The nice little extras were the amouse Bouche at the beginning & at the end. This was truly an enjoyable experience
Le surcouf , j y suis allé 2 fois dans les 2 derniers mois. Franchement, tout était hallucinant & surpassait mes attentes. & je peux en dire qu il fut de même pour mes invités.
Service hallucinant. Spécialement cette employée remarquable qui fait les meilleures crêpes suzettes au monde & qui s assure que j ai des glaçons en tout temps pour rafraîchir mon eau pendant les repas.
Cette fois ci, j y suis allée pour le carré d agneau qui était tendre & goûteux à souhait, présentés avec des accompagnements parfaits à tout les points de vue. Tout est juste & les saveurs parfaitement équilibrées. Mon amie a pris le plat du chef où le canard était en vedette & elle a aussi adorée

Nous avons grandement apprécié la qualité de la nourriture, la vaste sélection de plats & l'attention particulière que l'équipe du Surcouf donne au service à la clientèle. L'accueil a été chaleureux & la maison champêtre dans laquelle le restaurant est situé s'apprêtait très bien à notre soirée pour célébrer notre 27ème anniversaire de mariage.
