Le Surcouf is a welcoming French restaurant established in a Victorian home for over 45 years now. Dominique and the chef Serge will be pleased to help you discover the fine French classic cuisine. In the fall the restaurant offers a special game menu in addition to their regular table d'hôte that you create yourself.

Our dinner was delicious! The attention to detail from the moment we walked in, from taking our coats, to our beautiful round table, the Christmas decorations everywhere,the roaring fireplace, amuse-bouche offered, everything was thought out. & of course, the delicious dinner! A lovely experience.
Je trouve regrettable que notre serveur se soit autorisé des réflexions insolentes & qu'il ait eu si peu de tact, à 2 reprises🥴 Me faire dire devant mes convives ‘' vous n'avez jamais été dans un restaurant de fine cuisine? Car si c'était le cas vous sauriez où se trouve votre bouteille ‘'. Désolée, mais j'ai fréquenté de nombreux établissements de grand luxe & jamais, la bouteille de vin que j'avais commandé n'a été placée ailleurs que près de la table. & si ce n'était pas le cas, le serveur nous en avisait... De plus, me faire sentir comme une imbécile lorsque le dit serveur m'indique avoir mis le montant du pourboire pour être sûr que je lui verserai un pourboire proportionnel à la facture, pour moi, ce n'est pas digne d'un restaurant de fine cuisine... Mise à part cela, les autres serveuses & serveurs ( ceux qui apportaient les plats, servaient l'eau, retiraient les assiettes) étaient impeccables & la nourriture super bonne ! 👍

This has become a yearly event with this group which we all look forward to. The special attention to detail, ambience, food & more importantly the people are welcoming & wonderful ✨ Always a pleasurable experience, kudos to all 👏👏👏

For the most part it was great however I was disappointed when I noticed after ordering there was a table d'hôte with entirely different options which was not at all mentioned to us.
