If I could put 10 stars for the service, the food & the atmosphere, I would. It was an incredible experience. The young woman who looked after our table really went the extra mile. I've rarely experienced such excellent service & she gave sound advice. Unfortunately, I don't know her name, but she works on Friday evenings. I'd like to thank her again. She managed to turn our evening into an exceptional experience.
So, I highly recommend this restaurant for its choice of dishes & cocktails, its originality, the warm welcome we received & the friendliness of the staff. Moreover, the prices were affordable.
We went recently with my Wife to try & had a wonderfull experience, the place has a super nice decor, staff is welcoming & does great service, & everything we tried (cocktail/wine/meal) was delicious, I strongly recommend

Excellent & fun restaurant to visit. Love the concept.
Music was not too loud, & the noise level from other patrons did not interfere with our ability to speak & hear each other.
Service was friendly & prompt. Cocktails were wonderful & unexpected twists on classics.
Very well informed wait staff - & we appreciated the help to pair the wine with our meal choices.
The scallops were perfectly cooked & combined with the wild rice, carrots & asparagus, a meal made in heaven.
The duck was also perfectly cooked & the flavour profile when combined with the parsnips was perfection.
The only less than perfect meal was the shrimp risotto - good but underwhelming & the risotto was almost soupy. The nuts sprinkled on top were a nice addition, but felt more like an afterthought. It wasn't as fabulous as the other two meals but still good.
Would have loved to linger over the desserts - but we had to rush out for a prior engagement.
We enjoyed not only the cocktails listed on the menu, but our bartender Oliver was also able to craft a custom cocktail with Pisco (not commonly offered at bars), as we had explained we had recently returned from a trip to Chile & Peru. We also ordered the duck & the pear salad, which were both excellent. All the staff were friendly, & it was a clean & classy environment. We will definitely return - with friends!
Excellent souper, nous avons adoré notre expérience. Mateo nous a concoctés des cocktails uniques selon nos goûts. Le repas était excellent & bien balancé en rapport qualité/quantité prix avec quelques choix végétariens! Mes amies visitant de la côte ouest ont adoré leur soirée!
Expérience exceptionnelle au Le Speakeasy Montréal.
Dès l'arrivée, le ton est donné : entrer par un réfrigérateur d'ancienne pharmacie nous plonge instantanément dans une ambiance digne de la prohibition. Un concept original qui ajoute énormément à l'expérience.
Côté nourriture, c'est tout simplement remarquable. Des plats savoureux, uniques, avec des twists créatifs que nous n'avions jamais goûtés ailleurs. Chaque bouchée était une découverte.
Les cocktails sont tout aussi impressionnants : un mocktail parfaitement équilibré pour ma conjointe &, pour moi, un « Pecan Whiskey Sour » absolument délicieux. La carte offre un grand choix, & ça paraît que tout est réfléchi.
Mais ce qui a vraiment marqué notre soirée, c'est le service. Un immense merci à Kevin & Jade pour leur écoute, leur passion & leurs recommandations impeccables. Kevin nous a surpris avec ses choix de cocktails, tandis que Jade nous a guidés vers des entrées & plats principaux qui étaient de véritables coups de coeur.
C'est clairement un endroit où nous reviendrons - & certainement pour participer à l'un de leurs ateliers cocktails.
