The food was fantastic-we came specifically for the dollar oyster special, & it didn't disappoint. While it took a bit of time for the oysters to arrive, we didn't mind at all since we could see them being freshly shucked right next to us, which added to the experience.
One aspect that felt a little off was the wine service. When we asked about a wine we were considering, we expected to taste it before committing, as is common practice at many restaurants. Instead, the server simply described the wine & didn't offer a sample until we insisted a second time. Even then, the response was hesitant, asking,'Are you sure you want to try it?' This made us feel uncomfortable, as tasting before choosing is typically encouraged when ordering wine.
Aside from that, everything else was wonderful. The food was delicious, & though there was a small error on the bill, it was promptly corrected when we brought it to their attention.
The moment you walk in, the service is warm, fast, & flawless. The cocktails are next-level-perfectly balanced & full of flavor. Every drink is crafted with care, & the wine list? Absolutely phenomenal, with selections that will impress any connoisseur. Whether you're out for a special night or just craving a top-tier experience, this spot delivers every single time. An unforgettable gem in the heart of the city.
Le halloumi frit à éviter : squishy d'huile, désagréable en bouche. Je l'ai mentionné au serveur & j'ai dû me commander autre chose....& payer pour le halloumi pas mangé !
Petites portions, prix élevé, goût & qualité pas au rendez-vous malheureusement. Décevant.
Super nice place cozy nice ambiance with some live music. Food absolutely amazing & drinks too. To top it all. Loic is at your attention & guides you well thru the menu & drinks. Very friendly & yet very professional. Will go back :)

It's my second time at Roseline, the food is exquisite, the atmosphere amazing, specially with the pianist playing some of the best music variety! The service is excellent, special note to Loïc: very passionate, knows the menu & all it's ingredients one by one, very helpful, gave us good food & wine recommendations, & he's fun!
The atmosphere was particularly pleasant: lights are dimmed, yet you can still see your friends & the food in your plate, music & piano were playing yet you can still talk & hear, the decoration is nicely sophisticated & cosy…
The food was delicious: the starters, mussels, the lamb is just extra! THE DESSERTS are delicious!
In two words: highly recommended!!

Chaque assiette est une oeuvre d'art, un équilibre entre saveurs raffinées & présentation soignée, éveillant à la fois le regard & le palais. Que ce soit près des grandes fenêtres offrant une vue paisible sur l'hiver ou sur la mezzanine au charme intimiste, chaque table est une invitation à la découverte & au plaisir.

Overall rating: 2/5. This isn't due to the atmosphere or the food, but rather the incredibly long wait time. WOW!
I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you're planning to have a main course.
Let me explain: on March 28th, I visited with some friends. We arrived at 8 PM for a reservation for 8 people.
The atmosphere was fine, though. They had live music playing, & it's a great spot to relax with drinks & appetizers with friends or a date.
However, we didn't receive our food until 11 PM-3 hours later. The delay was due to an oven malfunction, which I understand, but they should have informed us much sooner.
Overall, I would recommend this place for drinks & appetizers. It's a charming spot.
My advice: they really need to improve their service, & this place could easily be a top choice! There's a park right in front, so you could take a nice walk afterward with your partner, for example.

Un raté. Le serveur a refusé de nous installer à des tables qu'il prétendait réserver pour ses'bons' clients. (L'une de ces tables est restée vide jusqu'à la fermeture). Le service a été très lent, les moules étaient trop cuites, la pieuvre était fade & pas assez assaisonnée & le flanc de porc était beaucoup trop salé. À éviter absolument.
Le Roséline is hands down one of my favorite spots in Montreal! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the most beautiful setting & this is coming from an interior design student so trust me. The atmosphere feels both romantic & lively.
For a girls' night out a romantic date night or a friends or colleagues gathering this place is perfect.✨
Oh annd their oysters? Absolutely divine! Fresh, & always served to perfection. & let's talk about the service-easily some of the best I've experienced in Montreal. Other dishes also to die for! The staff is incredibly welcoming, & genuinely passionate about making sure you have the best dining experience.
Honestly one of the best places to try not just for the food but for the entire experience.
