We ate bison, salmon tartare, mussels, frog legs & fish. Already a kind of expensive place & totally lost my lift tickets for the day.
So we read the reviews ahead of going to this place & we're prepared for a long wait for dinner. When we arrived, we noted that the restaurant was not very busy. There's a lot of smoke coming off the grill. Enough to make your eyes water but it wasn't as bad upstairs. That said, all of our clothes smell as a result.
The menu is interesting & varied. The dishes that were served were pretty good but I would not say outstanding. There's an extra charge for bread which is unfortunate because it probably would have helped with long wait. Our server was kind & patient, but it did appear that she was strained by the long waits from the kitchen. A lot of the guests were complaining about how long it was taking. I understand when you have a scratch kitchen that I can take a while to prepare food but it took an hour & a half for our meals to be served & to me that's excessive.
There are plenty of options within the village. If you're looking for a quiet evening & a long leisurely dinner, this might be a good fit. I would suggest ordering the bread service at the beginning of your meal so you at least have something to munch on while waiting.
Disappointing, we were a large group celebrating a special event that was ruined by an unaccommodating & rude service. We ended up leaving early & eating at a restaurant across the way with much better service. We were eventually given a reluctant 50% off our drinks only order when asked to see the manager.
Highly disappointed with the service that we received. We booked a table in advance for a family birthday celebration. Firstly, we were split across 2 different tables which wasn't ideal. When we asked if we could move to sit all together, we were told it wasn't possible. Our table was also placed by a broken window. We all got really cold as there was an icy draft coming through. We asked about the window & we're told that they have had someone look at it but it couldn't be fixed, we would have to just deal with it & order quickly which is quite frankly unacceptable. Our waitress was rude, unhelpful, & unaccomodating. We didn't even bother to order food as our experience up until receiving our drinks order (which took long & was incorrect) was not pleasant. Our experience here really ruined the mood for our family celebration.
4th day of a week long holiday trip to Montreal & then Mont Tremblant & this was the first bad experience. & I do mean, bad experience in every aspect. They almost seemed exasperated that we had come here to dine. & it only got worse from there. Drinks came half size & they were rude & condescending about it. When they brought us our food they didn't bring all of it, nor any spoons for our French Onion soup - & said they'd be right back with both things. That never happened. We eventually had to go track down spoons for ourselves. One of us never got her main, baked Brie, & by the time we finally saw our waiter again everyone had almost finished their meals. Our waiter clearly knew they'd forgotten the Brie & then brought us a semi-warmed one that was inedible. The food we did actually get, & when we actually got utensils with which to eat it, was blah. Would not recommend this place. Very rude people, horrible & incompetent service, blah food. & this was our experience when the restaurant was half empty. Can't imagine what a disaster it is when busy.
Simplement pris des chocolats chauds, service & ambiance tres agréable ! L'equipe est très professionel ! Je recommende pour une ambiance authentique !
The food was good. But the service was not provided. First the French onion soup was without cheese. A waitress apologized for it but did not fixed. The bill was for more expensive version. Then the beer was foaming from the can, 2 times. I was billed for 2 full cans. The waiting time was ridiculous long, we were served with drinks only after a reminder & 20 minutes later. Our friend had the same experience. I would not recommend visiting this place.
Nous avons mangé 2 soirs de suite dans ce restaurant que nous avons adoré. Service impeccable & plats délicieux.
What a charming & cozy place! A bit of a wait (& they don't take names or reservations), but you can have a drink at the bar. Our waiter Marc Antoine was fantastic! Very knowledgeable & kind. The food was good - my family liked the burgers, which they said were good, I had the fish which was just ok. Probably shouldn't have ordered that on a busy night. Oh & the music playlist was excellent! The atmosphere was very charming & ski cabin cozy.
Diverse & wow menu but underwhelmed by the dish execution. Wait time in 60% filled restaurant was more than 1 hr which is unacceptable. Food was ok but below average in terms of finesse, texture. Our server was great & kept things in a light mood but 2 stars for everything else.
Excellent service - definitely the best part of the night! The food was good too. The ambiance was good except that it got pretty smoky & our clothes smelled when we left.
Farm to table, great food, service & ambience! The game meats were fantastic. The bison tartare, the elk medallions, the game bourguignon & homemade desserts were perfect.
Very good food & excellent service! Our waitress Naomi was wonderful-attentive, friendly, & made the experience even better. Highly recommend Le Q.G.!
Restaurant typique d'un chalet, nous avons très bien mangé & avons été très bien servi. Angèle nous a offert un excellent service.
This is our go-to place when in Tremblant. The food is very good with focus on french classics & comfort foods. Cocktails & wine are nice as well. The owner makes sure every customer is having fun. Check it out.
We had breakfast. It was amazing. Atmosphere is pub / bar with an outdoor cabin feel. Service was friendly & helpful. Breakfast was great.
We had a great dinner. Bill was over 100$ each but we had drinks, multiples drinks, appetizers, meal & desserts. You dont have to indulge like we did, & indulge we did!
