Where to go for dinner & drinks!! Try this new location of an old time classic institution. Every visit is a pleasure. The service is attentive, welcoming, & genuinely professional. The food is consistently outstanding, beautifully prepared, full of authentic flavour, & crafted with the highest quality ingredients. Every dish reflects decades of culinary expertise & passion.
What makes Le Piment Rouge even more remarkable is the value. The prices are very reasonable for the exceptional quality, generous portions, & memorable dining experience they provide.
Whether you're rediscovering a Montreal classic or visiting for the first time, Le Piment Rouge is a destination that never disappoints. A true five-star experience that continues to honour its remarkable legacy while embracing an exciting new chapter. Highly recommended!
My favourite Chinese spot in the city , every visit is wonderful & the owner is so lovely 🥰
From the atmosphere to the service to the food, everything was excellent. This is a great restaurant for Chinese cuisine. The portions were very generous-we had enough leftovers to take home & enjoy for dinner as well. Everything was flavorful & delicious. Highly recommend!
Some of the worst Szechuan food I've had in years. I honestly don't know what I was thinking coming here. The food somehow managed to be bland, greasy, & aggressively salty all at once. Every dish tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp since lunch & then reheated badly before serving.
The dumplings looked & tasted cheap, rubbery, & completely flavorless. The General Tao was basically chunks of fried batter drowning in thick sugary salt sauce. Even the vegetables were sad.
The whole restaurant also feels tired & dingy, with zero energy or atmosphere. Definitely not the same quality people remember from the old Peel location years ago.
Terrible location, awful parking, mediocre service, & food that made me want water for the next three hours.
I can accept the high price, but if you tell me this is normal, then I have nothing more to say. I just hope everyone stays healthy after eating it.
Amazing food, one of the best Chinese restaurants in Montreal.
The green chili chicken, & chili beef are absolutely amazing.
Both on the spicy side & full of flavour. The portions are generous.
The service is very friendly & attentive.
Can't wait to go again & try new things on the menu.
Went to Le Piment Rouge Beaumont with my girlfriend & had a great experience.
We arrived 30 minutes before closing, & they were still very accommodating & friendly. The food was amazing across the board.
The place is very clean, open, & wheelchair-friendly (easy sidewalk access). Also, the bathroom was one of the best we've seen in downtown Montreal.
Overall, great service & great food.
