BACK TO THE FUTURE, par hasard & au détour d'une balade, nous retrouvons un classique de la scene culinaire montréalaise des années 80 & 90 sans pour autant être ringard. Saveurs & gouts authentiques qui ont fait de cette enseigne une incontournable table. Pour qui veut vraiment goûter de l'authentique cuisine szechuanaise "occidentalisée "qui a fait le succès du Piment Rouge , plaisir assuré! On y retourne pour essayer les nouveaux plats ? Assurément !!

Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. Food was incredible from start to finish. Had dim sum & the crunchy beef plate with steamed rice & wonton soup. My belly is very happy now. Highly recommended. Service was fantastic as well.

Nous étions un groupe de 13 personnes & nous avions une belle grande table. La nourriture était délicieuse. Tous les plats qui sont faits pour partager étaient savoureux. Le problème est au niveau du service, mon groupe & moi avons trouvé que les serveurs ne savaient pas quoi faire & dans quel ordre. Nous avons reçu l'alcool d'une seule personne, après 2-3 entrées pour quelques personnes seulement, après un plat principal, après d'autres entrées, bref tout arrivait dans le désordre. Il était difficile d'avoir de l'eau au début & personne n'est revenu nous voir pour commander de l'alcool quand tous nos verres étaient vides. Nous avons eu aussi la promesse que la cheffe/propriétaire allait venir nous voir, mais nous attendons encore. Je recommande pour emporter ou une équipe mieux formée.

Le Piment Rouge was a fantastic experience with delicious food, exceptional service, & excellent atmosphere. Dimitri, our waiter, was attentive & very helpful. He, & the rest of the team & management, took great care of us & we will be back!
